The Space:
Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away is a tiny house in Victoria, set on a working farm in Monegeetta, at the eastern edge of the Macedon Ranges. Located around 300 metres from the main house, the property dates back to the 1870s, with its original 1876 homestead still standing nearby.

A simpler way to live sustainably. The house runs entirely on solar power and features a compost toilet, offering a closer look at simple, mindful living. Staying on a working farm also brings authentic country experiences, from cattle grazing in the paddocks to farm dogs going about their day.

For an active escape, wander down to the creek for a summer swim or explore the property beneath its old trees. As the day winds down, settle by the fire pit and enjoy the sunset.

Inside the 157-square-foot tiny house, you'll find a lofted queen bed, a couch, a pot-bellied stove for cooler nights, and a kitchenette with cooking essentials and a portable electric cooler. The bathroom includes a compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.

A Few Things to Know: The property runs on solar power, so mindful electricity use is appreciated. Please share your arrival time with the host so the guard dogs can be secured. Expect to meet friendly livestock guardian dogs, and note that other guests may be staying in the homestead.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and the surrounding areas, including the front garden and tennis court. Additionally, we would like to remind guests that our tiny home promotes sustainable living in nature.

If you're interested, pick-ups and drop-offs in town can be arranged with your host with at least 24 hours' notice.

The Neighborhood:
Deep Creek Sunset by Tiny Away is a pet-friendly farm stay in Victoria, located in Monegeetta, where the Macedon Ranges begin. Explore the region's native forests, wineries, and local producers, with Hanging Rock just 25 minutes away. Take the Summit Walk, visit Hanging Rock Winery, or climb Camels Hump for sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. Romsey is just 10 minutes away for everyday essentials, while Woodend, about half an hour away, offers local dining favourites such as Holgate Brewhouse, Kuzu Izakaya and Verdure Bistro.

Getting Around:
By car: 10 mins to Romsey
28 mins to Woodend
30 mins to Kyneton
25 mins to Hanging Rock
30 mins to Mount Macedon.

By public transport: Southern cross station to Clarkefield station (about 10 mins away). You can arrive by taxi or arrange for us to pick you up at the station.

Other Things to Note:
- No smoking on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please be advised that we have cattle on our property
- Solar-powered with a small fan provided. Policies and reminders will be sent before booking
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Pet-friendly – An additional fee of $30 per pet, per stay is payable at check-in. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. The full pet policy will be provided before your stay.

- Outdoor fire pits are available, except during a total fire ban.
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
