Music from the restaurant went on until midnight. Air conditioning didn't work in one of our first rooms. Room service brought up a bottle of Coke, but no bottle opener. Food ordered through room service was mediocre. The single best thing about our stay was the staff. They were very accommodating and kind.

Affordability, very friendly and helpful staff, good food and good proximity of the hotel to several important places in Mombasa. Most definitely staying at Sapphire Hotel the next time am in Mombasa.

Disappointed. This hotel could be so good.
After arriving and checking in, we ordered a meal in the dining room by the swimming pool as a couple with 4 children. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 pizzas for the children to share. It took nearly 2 hours for the food to arrive!!! Very poor service for such a simple meal from the menu. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We booked 2 packet breakfasts as we were due to leave the hotel at 5:30am. We were so disappointed... 3 small slices of watermelon and some warm flatbread. Nothing else - not even a drink. The worst packed breakfast ever...!!!

The hotel was nice but they didnt have WIFI on 7th floor. I struggled for a whole week of stay without internet. I asked for a room swap and it was denied. Staff dont provide feedback and you must follow up on your requests severally before they addressed. The towels are old and some are worn out.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the room, pool and service from staff. They were very helpful and ordered us a taxi for the trip back to the airport. A staff member also volunteered to assist us with getting change for a tuk tuk. Would stay here again.

It's a decent place to stay. Room is noisey but staff are friendly and helpful. Room service quite good. Buffet breakfast quite good too (though only instant coffee). Do not disturb sign ignored by staff and woke us.

Wat is uniek van het hotel is de locatie. Het ligt in het centrum van Mombasa. En dat is echt een groot plus. En Sapphire is een prettig en echte chic hotel accommodatie. De hotel kamer was echt schoon en alles werkte perfect inclusief de AC. Maar ik miste een water koker om een koopje thee/koffee te kunnen maken. Ik vond het ontbijt echt top....elke dag anders en best lekker. Ga zo door Sapphire hotel!!!

It was clean and convenient for our purposes, room was spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only things I didn't like were there was no coffee service available in the room, and the kitchen service in the restaurant was incredibly slow, just as it had been in the hotel in Kisumu the week before. It took a minimum of two hours to order and eat as a result, which Is just not acceptable. Sometimes hard to find a server during the process. But they were very nice and friendly anyway.

the property is in the city in a quite place and the staff are really nice well worth its money i stayed there for 5 nights and it was really nice will visit again you no the let me stay till 1.00pm when i was sapouse to leave at 10.in the morning and they did not even charge me for it and i really appreciated that will recommend hotel sapphire to any one kassim
