The neighborhood is not great for walking, but there are sidewalks directly adjacent to the house, and you can walk safely around the block. We found hiking trails at Money Rocks County Park in the Welsh Mountains (about 30 minutes) that we did not try... yet. And we found a wonderful park within 5 minutes ...

„The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. We enjoyed it immensely and would not hesitate to go back to the Barclay House in the future.“

„This house was perfect for our son's graduation from Susquehanna University. Clean, lots of room to hang out and had everything you need. It was 25 minutes from SU but we also wanted to be near Lewisburg for some of our favorite restaurants. A good time was had by all!“
