Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience. The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. „Check-in was seamless. Very easy directions to use the keypad and we got in right away. It is very quaint and beautiful. Very homey feel. Miss Evelyn met us this morning and was a gem to visit with and get to know. She very politely offered us coffee and/or breakfast. Very friendly. Made sure we had cleared out before she started cleaning the rooms we had stayed in.“

„Alle Räume waren original erhalten. Die Bette waren noch die alten Betten mit großen Baldachinen. Nur wer Sinn für so etwas hat, sollte dort buchen. Aber dann ist es ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Die alte Dame des Hauses erzählte ganz reizend und begeistert von der Geschichte des Hauses und ihrer Familie. Von ihr erhielten wir ein jeden Morgen anderes Südstaaten-Frühstück, begleitet von immer neuen Geschichten. Fließendes Englisch ist empfehlenswert, um das zu genießen.“
