This delightful former stable groom cottage is located in the small town of Withypool, sitting in the heart of the stunning and dramatic Exmoor National Park which offers a fantastic range of breath-taking walks with spectacular views. You can walk Tarr Steps in the heart of Exmoor and enjoy the sights of the beautiful wooded valley of the River Barle. There are also opportunities for horse riding and fishing nearby. A short drive away is the glorious North Devon coast, with its picturesque views, sandy beaches, charming seaside towns including Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton, the Valley of the Rocks, and the breath-taking coastal walk from Heddons Mouth to Woody Bay.


Enter into the property and find yourself in the hallway, perfect for hanging coats and storing shoes. Heading into the cosy lounge a place where you can relax after a busy day of exploring and catch up of your favourite programme on the TV, whilst the wood burner crackles away in the background. The open-plan kitchen/diner is well-equipped with electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a dining table for four. Head up the stairs to the cottages two bedrooms, the master king-size bedroom with a spectacular view and two single beds. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with beautiful roll-top bath, separate shower and WC.


Venture outside to the fully enclosed garden area which offers garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, the perfect space for al fresco dining. For guests booking both properties and requiring access to each cottage, the secure gate between the adjoining properties can be unlocked, allowing access for both properties.


There is a Tack Room, including a washing machine and dryer for use by both cottages. There is ample off-road parking.


The cottage benefits from an air source heat pump, providing efficient and comfortable heating throughout the property, as well as hot water. The system is designed to maintain a comfortable, consistent temperature and provide hot water efficiently, keeping the cottage warm and welcoming throughout your stay. The heating and hot water are automatically controlled, so there is no need to adjust the system, simply settle in, relax and enjoy your stay.
