„We are local to the hotel and stayed here for a few nights whilst some work was done on our home. We pop in frequently for breakfast anyway as it’s excellent value and very customisable, but found the room & service to be very good as well!“

„What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.“

„Room in a bad shape, but the bathroom was the most terrifying I ever experienced. A very very bad old urinary kind of smell. The toilet lid fell all the time down and a lot of foreign hair on the bathroom floor. Went back to the lady behind the bar and asked for another room mentioning the bad smell. According to her, no other room available.“

„A lovely large room and bathroom - comfortable bed and large bathroom with both double shower and a bath. Very clean.“

„The lady who checked me in was excellent, very courteous and helpful. Amenities were very good, and room was clean. Bed was comfortable, my pillow was too soft, but that is a personal observation and choice. Overall an excellent choice!!“

„Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.“
