Disappointing service & room
I booked this hotel (for far too much money) last minute because my train got cancelled. The building itself is very interesting and close to the city center! However there were issues with the room & service. The front desk usually was nice enough yet after check-out I wanted to use the restroom in the lobby and I was told that there is only a service bathroom and that I should go to ‘some bar on the street’?? They also ‘kindly’ reminded me to buy something if I use their bathroom as it would be rude not too. In Milan one has to pay 4€ tourist tax for a ‘3-star’ hotel, I paid 5€ in cash? As for the room, I had to forcefully push the door open (the door drags on the ground, scratching the floor). When I drew attention to this, the janitor took a look at it and said that the door wasn’t put in properly and then just left?). Furthermore, the WiFi rarely worked in the room and the tea kettle was rusty and calcified (I tried to cook water and the water was very opaque afterwards). On the fourth floor the room numbers are laminated signs stuck on the wall with clear tape. Some decorations look kitsch and cheap. Overall a disappointing stay after already having had an exhausting journey.

Wir konnten das Zimmer um 14.00 Uhr beziehen. Wurden informiert, dass das Hotel ab nächstem Tag schliesst (Ferien). Wir mussten somit bereits um 10.00 Uhr ausgecheckt haben und konnten unsere Gepäckstücke auch nicht deponieren. Eine Info im Vorfeld wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Dear Guest, We sincerely apologize for your experience. We close just one time a year and every time we close we inform our partners due to give to the costumers the information about the changing of the check out time ad luggages deposit. We are very sorry that you didn't receive the right information while you booking our hotel and we will assure it will never happens again. Our check in time is 2:00 pm but if we have rooms ready we always try to satisfy our guest and check in before this time. Check out usually is at 12:00 am and we offer the free luggages deposit and the access to the commune areas of the hotel to the check outed guests. We hope you will give us a second chance while you will enjoy Milano in the future. Kind Regards

When we arrived, the A/C was off due to construction. Once the A/C was turned on, a couple hours after we arrived, the temperature of the room never improved. We had two rooms and both rooms had the same problem. We reported this to the staff, but they said they would check to see if windows were open on the construction floor. Worst stay on our two week vacation touring Italy. I wish we would have picked a different location for our last night in Italy.

E' stata una esperienza pessima,non ho parole nel descrivere la pochissima professionalità dello staff fatta qualche eccezione. Ha dell'incredibile avermi fatto pagare 3 asciugamani da me richieste mai arrivate,ma sopratutto nessuno dalla reception mi ha prima avvertito che gli asciugamani se richiesti andavano pagati;ma,nonostante questa scortesia che deriva da una mancanza totale di comportamento viene accentuata ancor di più se penso che,io nonostante avessi più volte ribadito ch egli asciugamani non fossero mai arrivati,la direttrice o presunta tale ha comunque disposto che io pagassi comunque il servizio. Tutto questo è inaccettabile,perchè se il cliente ti dice che non ha ricevuto il servizio tu gli devi credere sopratutto se non hai la sicurezza delle tue ragioni. Chi vi parla è un vostro caro cliente che ogni anno fa con voi dai 50 ai 100 pernottamenti ,che se ne frega delle 17 euro ma che non vuole essere trattato come l'ultimo dei pezzenti

Gent.moDi norma tutti gli extra negli hotel si pagano, compresi gli asciugamani in più che vengono richiesti.Non ci risulta comunque che lei abbia mai fatto presso la nostra struttura dai 50 ai 100 pernottamenti , anche perchè se è sua consuetudine chiedere asciugamani extra saprebbe che sono a pagamento. Detto ciò nessuno si è mai permesso di etichettarla come pezzente, non è un linguaggio che appartiene a noi.Grazie

La sua recensione è a causa di un overbooking di Hotels.com che ha rivenduto una camera presso la nostra struttura, quando non era disponibile, come dimostrato dagli xml forniti dal nostro Channel Manager, la invitiamo a richiedere il rimborso a Hotels.com e a riservare il punteggio 2 per il loro servizio e non per la nostra struttura perchè non è dipeso da noi il disservizio

Avoid this hotel !
This hotel does not deserve more than one star. The staff was very unfriendly (with the exception of Antonio) and does not make you feel welcome at all. The air conditioning was not working as the hotel claims a policy where it’s ‚not allowed’ to turn it on unless the room has more than 28 degrees. Therefore could not sleep as with windows open it was way too loud. Fridge in the room also didn’t work. Asked the staff multiple times to kindly turn both on but was rejected. Shower has no curtain so the whole bathroom gets wet. try to avoid at all cost

The staff was friendly and the place clean overall, however the AC did not work (apparently because of the temperature outside which shouldn't matter) and had to sleep with the window open which we were then bit up all night by mosquitos. So if you are expecting to have AC or need/want it, I would be prepared not to have it here.

Dear Sir, thank you for your feedback, we want to add some information: the room you stayed was a deluxe room and the price you payed was an error rate by Expedia and was 30 euro. The AC was working but with 20* degree outside the machine won't work with a cold AC but with air freshed recirculation because our hotel is converting to ECO, as we installed also solar pannels. We want to remember you that a low score on a review is very bad for the reputation of an hotel specially after this terrible period of pandemic where most of the business are shout out. We let you storage your bags for free for all the check out day, service that most of the hotel doesn't have. What we least expected was a review like that as you had an unique rate on the Milan market for 3 stars hotel. Kind regards
