„A very good stay, the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was clean and had natural ventilation, the bed was comfortable. The guest house was close to the centre of Sale and was easy to get to the bars and restaurants. We would recommend staying there and if we come back to Sale we would stay here again“

„Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. “

„To be honest i found this not so bad. Yes it's old decor and in dire need of some tlc but for the price (if ave £60 a night or less) its worth it. Not worth more than that though. Its central to a good selection of shops and eat outs. I was contracting in the area so was a handy base. The owner Mike is fantastic. Incredibly helpful and always on hand if need anything. There is a small fridge and a microwave in a commin room lounge which i found helpful as i like proper milk with my tea and ...

„Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny.
