Es war unfassbar hellhörig. Man fiel regelmäßig aus dem Schlaf, wenn einer der Nachbarn nach Hause kam….habe das bei der Buchung auch abgetan, aber sind normal nicht empfindlich, aber hier war es krass

I think the location of the hotel was very good. Everything was perfect with two exceptions: our room was next to the escape stair, so we unfortunately have a limited view of the city. And the design of the hotel is a little bit too anonymous, a bit of local touch will be great.

Booked this hotel back in August 2023. Received an email cancellation by Sonder the day before we were supposed to arrive however, they did not inform Expedia. When I checked Expedia, my reservation still showed confirmed however, it was now under a different hotel name but same address. My interpretation was that it was confirmed but under a new hotel name. I should have called to confirm, which was my fault. We arrived to Mexico City and arrived at the confirmed address. There were two security guards at the hotel that said the hotel was still not open for business and would be open in two months! The hotel obviously knew weeks ahead of our planned arrival that they would not be able to recieve us yet they waited less than 24 hours before to let us know or let Expedia know as well. The security guards were nice enough to let us sit in the lobby and make phone calls to look for a new hotel -which we appreciated very much. It took us several hours on the phone with Expedia to find another room- which actually turned out terrible.

So this property canceled my reservations last minute and automatically changed my reservation to their other hotel which was Sonder La Cima. No complaints at all It was better because it had a beautiful balcony with view of the city and was actually bigger than what I originally booked which made up for the last minute change and it was still in Roma Norte area. The location is wonderful because everything is walkable and Ubers are super cheap so to you can Uber everywhere since everything is close by. So many restaurants to choose from and cafes. The hotel is super clean and the staff is super helpful 24 hrs. My first night the AC did not work and the problem was solved immediately. The room was clean and beautiful. They provide everything you need from dishware to coffee and tea. Staff was very attentive. They do not clean during your stay so bring cleaning wipes to wipe stuff down. They will hold your luggage if you arrive early or have a late flight and want to kill time. There is free laundry rooms with detergent and softner for free. Do not bring body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion as they provide it and will refill at no additional cost. Staff speaks English. Highly recommended !

The room is a good size and it's located in a good area however, we did not get much sleep because the entire stay the smoke detector chirped all night long. We spoke to the attendant and they said that they would fix it and they never did. The other thing that we found odd was that they only have one trash can that is located in the bathroom. Once the trash got full (which got full by the second day) we were told that we had to empty it ourselves. We took it down to the trash bin ourselves. Also, you wash your own towels. You don't get clean towels. We had to take an afternoon from our vacation and wash towels. We had to cancel our afternoon plans just to wash towels. The room was a great price so I guess that they had to cut costs somewhere.

Excellent property with great facilities in an outstanding location. Great gym, laundry and outdoor terrace. Arrival dificult for wanted to access room at 1pm, room was ready but there was an additional charge to acces room in the afternoon. It did not feel like hospitality, but rather treatment of clients as being point of extraction for money. Later discover it was written, but it is impossible to read entire text about every product. It caused a bad impression. Except for this momnet, the rest was great.

The rooms are modern and comfortable. The bed was perfect for after a long day walking the city. The customer service was friendly and helpful. The hop on hop off location was just around the corner which made for fast access around the city. We will stay here again in the future.

Everything was very clean, and the room had everything we needed. Filtered water, coffee, tea, a small stove, kettle and toaster. The staff were very helpful and had an answer to any of our questions. Highly recommend!

We booked our stay at Sonder Cielo with high expectations because of the wonderful reviews here (and at other websites) and because the Sonder website paints an image of a stay that would be really quite lovely (high design and comfort). It was mostly good. The location in Roma Norte was great. We felt safe. The staff were quite nice. However, prospective guests should know this (I was unaware, and so perhaps that's the problem): 1. Your stay would not come with housekeeping, not even if you are staying for 7 nights. 2. No housekeeping also means no change of towels gratis. When I asked for a change of towels after a few days of stay and because the towels didn't dry fully (because there was only one hook in the bathroom to hang all four towels atop one another), staff at front desk suggested I stick them into the dryer in the laundry room 3. No fresh towels and no extra toilet paper should you need it . I got an inkling of that when we saw a guest clutching his package of toilet paper in the elevator one night. So, in short, if the price quoted is on the low side, the stay can still be worth the trouble of going out to buy your own toilet paper. But all things being equal, you might consider another establishment that would include such basic amenities. Otherwise, we appreciated the location and the comfort of the beds. I just found the super cheap toilet paper (and the lack of extras) and the other above mentioned flaws irritating.

Not only was the apartment extremely walkable, but it was a great location on a quiet side street that made it an easy Uber and taxi pickup and drop off. The building amenities were great and the entire property was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great value in an excellent location, close to many restaurants and shops! Appreciated security, gym and filtered water dispenser in room. Shower nice and large but faucets need adjustment. Full size fridge and Nespresso coffee machine were also nice. Air conditioning worked well but controls were not straight forward.
