Very pleasant stay inside a quaint single bedroom in a convenient area within Mexico City. Away from the hustle and bustle of Centrale, this area was very nice to walk around and served as a good hub to do day trips from. The room itself was nice - the bed is actually 2 twins pushed together, which i didn't personally like that much; never could get comfortable and had trouble sleeping. The bathroom was big and nice looking with a lot of tile. Shower/tub was good. Sink got clogged after a while of just running the water, but not a huge issue. Room itself was clean. Wish there was better lighting though - the lamps used were harsh on the eyes at night. Walls are a bit thin as well so you can hear anyone's conversation that they're having in the lobby, even downstairs (I was on the 2nd floor). No view from my room. No A/C either, but that's very common in Mexico apparently. The windows aren't very secure as anyone could access your room if you left them open (no screen - and there's steps right outside where someone could technically easily access (although there was barbed wire surrounding the premises on that side). Service was very good throughout the stay. Also, the safe didn't function in my room.
