„We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊“

„It was our second stay and ist was as good as we remembered: nice room, helpful host (thanks for the short walk with all the little waterfalls) and the best cooked breakfast we ever had 😋“

„Wir waren nur eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp hier, aber das Inn ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und sauber und die Kommunikation mit Jacqui sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider waren wir an einem Montag da, an dem das Pub geschlossen ist, der Gastraum ist so gemütlich eingerichtet, dass wir gerne im Abendbetrieb da gewesen wären. 😊 So war es leider nur zum Frühstück.“

„The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially when I couldn't open the key cabinet. Dinner was quite excellent and reasonably priced. Room was larger than expected but TV reception was patchy and screen kept freezing perhaps due to poor Wi-Fi reception. One thing to remember, they do not have allocated parking - whilst there is a large car park behind it is £2 for 2 hours and £6 for a day but keep in mind the gates are shut from10pm to 8am which is unhelpful when you need to leave ...

„The only negative point for me was not having the option to pay all in advance. Due to the card I've used to book ( it was a swiss site then I've used a swiss card ) and taking into account that in the meantime they've taken an advance payment and then back again they've paid themselves the rest with the same card, I've ended paying more than the advertised price. A real shame because the BB is good. “

„The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but ...

„Beautiful location. Great breakfast.“

„Excellent hotel, staff were fantastic, great facilities, comfortable room. We loved it. Bit less wedding paraphernalia would have been nice though - very much designed to be a venue.“

„Gestank, schmuddelig, Flecken in Bettwäsche, Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, kein Kinderbett aufgebaut, Kalkrückstände überall im Bad, umgebautes Behinderten Toilette und zusammengewürfelte Einrichtung ohne Flair. Aufenthalt abgebrochen, woher kommen die guten Bewertungen? Auf unserer GBR Reise die größte Enttäuschung“

„Over all we had a great three night stay. Very friendly staff, good accommodation and location. Our only criticism was that when we ate in the restaurant one evening and had breakfasts the food wasn’t hot and the plates hadn’t been heated.“

„Very nice and friendly hotel! Really liked this one..“

„Superbly hosted by Jen and Howard. If your heading to Brecon look no further! With views of the Beacons second to none.“

„Sehr ländlich gelegen, aber in Nähe vom Flughafen von Cardiff (ca. 5 Taxi-Minuten). Interessante Erfahrung. Frühstück typisch englisch, aber ungesund (Weißbrot, Abgepacktes etc). Zimmer hellhörig. Habe unfreiwillig den Nachbarn abends zwei Stunden lang zugehört.“

„Fantastic stay only a short walk from Cardiff Main Station, Castle or City Center. Check-in with keyless code and key box. The whole accomodation has been renovated recently so everything is in very good condition. Highly recommendable“
