B&B in Mersea Island finden

„Man wird von der netten Julie zusammen mit ihren zwei Schäferhunden begrüßt. Das Einzelzimmer ist recht groß und es gibt als "Freebie" 0,5l Wasser und Tee/Kaffe. Das Badezimmer muss geteilt werden, war für mich aber kein Problem, da ich als nicht Geschäftsreisender unter der Woche nach acht Uhr sowieso alleine war. Das engl. Frühstück ist üppig und Julie geht auf viele Wünsche ein.“

„Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.“

„We have stayed at the Marlborough before on our travels in 2025 and when we retuned this year 2026 we wanted to stay again but longer this time. So glad we did everyone one was kind and friendly and new what they were doing. the pub itself and the rooms were excellent and vintage. The area of course is wonderful. All service, food and beverages top class. We plan on returning possibly next year and will likely stay even longer. Thank you.“

„The rooms/chalets are fairly new and everything was in good order. The shared patio is a nice idea as it gives you the opportunity to wander out with your coffee and slump in the fresh air, surrounded by plants. We arrived on e-bikes and there was an area of shingle in the garden outside the chalets which was the perfect size to put the bikes overnight, they could only be seen from the chalets. Stephen and Vanessa were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel very well looked after. The ...

„The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back! “
