„The room was cosy and very tidy in the style of an English Bed and Breakfast. The Lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. I am not sure, how to rate the Spa. The sauna and the bathing area were a bit rustic and old fashioned. On the other side, it fits to the hippie flair of Mendocino. All in all, I recomend the accommodation“

There were a few cobwebs in the corners, the ocean facing doors do not work as pictured, and there are no ocean views from the hot tub as represented in the listing, but these are minor notes on an overall wonderful week. The location is excellent--quiet and set apart, but near enough to redwoods, towns, and wineries to venture out with ease. We spent hours watching the waves and the sky from the deck. Beautiful!“

„This quiet and cozy setting in the forest provided a wonderfully restful experience. The cottage is well-stocked, clean and beautifully built. The furnishings are very comfortable. The owners obviously put much love and attention to every detail which makes this rental our most favorite ever. The outdoor showers were unique and fun. The location is amazing, being between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, so we could explore both areas easily. We would love to visit again.“

„Absolutely gorgeous location! Very much off the beaten path. All you could hear is forest sounds and the ocean in the distance. Great getaway if you want to disconnect for a while and get back to nature. Lots of stuff to do. Lots hiking, kayaking, horseback riding. Plenty of places to eat. Definitely will be back, but for longer! Excellent host too! Great communication. Very clean location, well maintained. Can't recommend enough!“

„Our stay at Ben’s place was incredible, I was only sad that we could stay only one night. Being amongst the redwoods was so cool and the cabins were clean, comfortable, and cozy. Ben was super accommodating and was clearly investing in making sure we had a great experience. Having a cup of coffee in the morning among the stillness of those tall giants is not to be missed!“

"Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr moderne, hochwertige Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine in der Unterkunft. Der Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das einzige, was uns gestört hat, waren viele Hunde in der Anlage, man hatte auch Hundegeruch im Appartement."
