Everytime again.
Big hostel. Great price. Tidy and clean. The reception is a littel bit confused, they charged me my room twice, but a get the money back. The keycard most of the time doesn´t work. In morning the stuff by the breakfast is angry and not really helpful. But all in one it was ok for the price. The best is that the hostel is dircet in the city and the tram ist just 2 min´s.

3 Nächte in Melbourne
Melbourne ist eine großartige Stadt und die Lage des Hotels wirklich klasse, aaaaaaber übernachten würden wir das nächste Mal doch woanders. Trotz der fleißigen und sehr netten Mitarbeiter, die versuchen das Hotel sauber zu halten und einen guten Service zu bieten, liegt in den Fluren und selbst in den Zimmern ein beißender Geruch nach Käsefüßen. In unserem DZ gab es ausser einem Bett und einer kleinen Kleiderstange keine weiteren Möbel, kein Schrank, Tisch oder sonstige Ablagefläche. Die Küche hat auch ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Schränke und Kühlschränke quillen nur so über, appetitlich sieht leider anders aus. Wäsche waschen klappte gut (3$ waschen 2$ trocknen + 2$ Waschmittel für 2x waschen), auch wenn die Wäsche nach 30 min nicht wirklich super sauber war, ist aber anscheinend normal in Australien.

Großes Backpacker Hostel im Zentrum von Melbourne
Das Hostel ist sehr groß und gibt alles was man als Backpacker braucht. Hat eine tolle Dachterasse und der Große Kücke. Es ist ideal gelegen in Melbourne. Ich hatte ein Zwei-Bett zimmer was sehr sauber und ausreichend war. Desweiteren ist der Aufenthaltsraum , die Terasse und das Hostel-Kino sehr zu empfehlen.

Großes Hostel im Zentrum
Das Hostel ist gut, um viele Kontakte zu knüpfen. Es gibt eine riesige Dachterasse und eine Bar u.a. die Zimmer sind meiner Meinung nach zu einfach gehalten im vgl. Zu anderen Hostels. Es gab z.B. kein Waschbecken im Zimmer und der Weg zum Gemeinschaftsbad kann unter Umständen ziemlich weit sein.

WLAN war NICHT kostenlos, Zimmer musste 2 mal gewechselt werden weil die Betten nicht sauber waren und noch Haare (mehrere) darauf zu finden waren. Zimmer besteht nur aus Betten und einen Mitstkübel.

Es ist ein Hostel mit durchschnittlich 12er Zimmern. Nichts besonderes. Die Rezeption ist aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Gutes hotel in stadtnähe
Nach einigen schwierigkeiten zu beginn (weil z.b meine Reservierungsdaten nicgt gleich gefunden wurden und ich dann noch mal zusätzlich 15australische dollar fürs wifi zahlen hab müssen obwohl ich das bei der Buchung schon bezahlt hab) war es dann doch sehr schön.

Zentral aber dreckig.
An Rucksacktouristen auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung! Sehr zentral gelegen, guter Service und hervorragende Zusatz-Angebote. Die Badezimmer sind allerdings höchst ungenügend. Wir haben uns immer andere Toiletten gesucht, anstatt im Hostel zu gehen. Alles in allem aber okay!

I liked the property's location. However apart from one staff member who was really nice, the other two I dealt with weren't as good. One was an unusual character, a man wearing red nail polish! Does he not realise that nail polish is for ladies only? And speaking of ladies, one of the women staff tried to rip me off accusing me of having outstanding balance with the property when I ALWAYS pay in advance. I couldn't manually put in the code to my room because the door nob thing was broken so I'd have to knock if my phone was dead, and I also felt it unreasonable for them to ask for my passport even though I'm an Australian citizen coming to Melbourne for a business trip from Sydney!

Extended booking but was not given same room.Although i was told earlier it will be same room/bed. No early checkin option have to wait for 03 hours in reception till 2pm for checkin. Took 04 bed sharing toom but had lots of suffocation no ventilation and aircon wasn't working property at night.

Getting in and out of the rooms using the Goki app was pretty easy, staff at reception were really nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the kitchen smelled so bad it permeated throughout the entire area outside it. I stayed on the 4th floor so I can’t speak for the other floors, but there were food items still in the fridges left unmoved for days/weeks at a time (I stayed for 2 weeks) and it was clear it probably hasnt been thoroughly cleaned/checked in a while. When dishes were washed and put away even by staff at the end of the night, there were still little grubs here and there on them. But housekeeping service and cleanliness of the entire place outside of that was pretty consistent. They cleaned the showers and trash every day, and fresh linens would be replaced from guests that were checked out. Everyone was really polite and helpful. Again, overall not bad.

UNBEARABLY NOISY Very vlean white sheets & matress protector. Good ensuite. Horribly uncomfortable pillow. Very noisy eating area outdide the room. Kitchen cooking smells into the room. Zero enfircement of 10pm noise curfew. In house music in Reception blaring past 1 0r 2 in the morning. Not sound-proofed ftom the rest of the hostel. Good for meeting new people -with bad facilities
The pictures on the webside of the room I booked did not collide with reality! It was not very clean. The hostel was however very good if you want to meet new people. You get a free drink on the day of arrival to mingle with people. I only stayed for one night and I would not have liked to stay more than maybe 3 nights there. I forgot to take photos because I only stayed for 1 night.

Don't book this
Rooms small, stinky, absolutely disgusting smell. Very crowded, no privacy at all. Lounge area and kitchen smell like rotten corpses. People lying around, looking and smelling like they are living there permanently without showering. Mold, dusty airconditioning, wet walls. Way too loud music on the ground floor, not possible at all too speak to receptionists and annoying when sleeping. Only go here if you're looking for depression.

Friendly staff, easy to walk to supermarket, state library, Melbourne central in 10mins, breakfast at hungry jack is just a 5mins walk, queen Victoria market is closer in 4 mins walk at the left side of the hostel building. Pay car parking in front of the hostel.

Public areas are well maintained, staff are super helpful and generous. Got upgraded a couple of times. Love that they have a gym room, a tiny one but good enough for a hostel.
