THE BEDROOMS — Three of them, a queen in each, three doors that actually close. Six people, no one on a sofa bed, no one drawing the short straw. Black-out blinds, extra pillows and blankets, fresh linen made up before you get here.

THE BATHROOM — Singular. One bathroom, with a bathtub, between six of you. Great for a family, a bit of a negotiation for six adults — go in knowing.

THE KITCHEN — A real one. Gas stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker. Pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper, dishes, cutlery, wine glasses, and a dining table that seats everyone.

THE BUILDING — Older, and we'd rather say it than have you discover it. Clean and properly kitted out, but the finishes have history. That's the deal you're getting on the price.

THE REST — Washer and dryer in the flat, iron, ceiling fan, portable heater, wifi, TV, a desk to work at. Free car space downstairs. Long stays welcome.


Straight up: this is an older building. Clean, comfortable, everything works — but the fittings have a few decades on them. We'd rather you book knowing that than arrive expecting a magazine spread. The upside is the price for this address.
