Great family stay.
We stayed as a family group. Apartment was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a great balcony with views of city skyline and Yarra river. Short walk into CBD, close to restaurants. At night our apartment was quiet.

A short break
We had a great 4 days and the apartment was excellent. We were surprised by how roomy it was and how close to everything we were. The building outside our window kept the family quite entertained and the noise was barely noticeable. We were on the 33 floor and had quite a good view and the children enjoyed the pool. Kids would have loved free WIFY.

Great location, fab place for family.
Will definitely stay here again! Two-bedroom apartment was perfect for our family. It was clean and very comfortable. Access to pool and gym was also a bonus.

Nice apartment, roomy, well stocked and clean. However, is currently slap bang in the middle of a major building site and noisy work starts at 7am each morning.

Great location. Only a short walk to Southbank that has great restaurants and plenty of street entertainment. Not far from Flinders Street Station.

Perfect we didn't leave the cbd
Make sure your key fob works on the outside after hours section of the hotel. Ask for instructions on how to use the washer dryer if you plan to use as no instructions had me baffled for a while. Perfect location we were on 23 in a 2 bedroom apartment great views. taxi cost $70 from the airport. Not too noisy until last morning when the construction site fired up next door.

Lovely spot, lovely and friendly staff including a lot of reminders about pre check in formalities. The air conditioner was not as effective. The room supplies were not replenished

Wrap is a nice building. We will get the A/C looked at, but thank for letting us know. With the supplies we are not a hotel and re stock each day is something we do not do. Thanks

Room with a city view
Our stay was very comfortable. It is situated 50mfrom Southbank cafes. The only downsize was that the sliding door out to the balcony was broken. Adam was very apologetic and came back to give us free wine for the issue. Overall the apartment was spacious and warm with foxtel and comfy couches to use.

Unbelievably bad service and terrible staff
The worst service and staff I have had to deal with, certainly in Melbourne, probably Australia. Needed a late checkout (midday) so phoned to see if going to be a problem, before booking. Was told it was possible. As I was checking in on a Sat, they requested about a week before with ~6 emails & phone messages for the flight no., whilst on holiday in the NT. I emailed them the flight times, including arrival time & the airline & also that I would call if the flight was late however, this was insufficient, they demanded the flight no. (which I did not have) or would not confirm that we would be met by anyone upon arrival. So had to phone the airline for this, then call them. Still requested to be called when in the taxi, to be told there was no booking in my name, then found it under a different name. He wanted to know the exact arrival time, 20mins according to the taxi driver, when arrived, had to wait more than 15mins before anyone showed up. No apologies. Broken toilet seat, informed staff member however, not fixed. A blocked drain in the shower which filled up to 8cm depth whilst showering and took ~30mins to drain away. The welcoming letter stated that a late checkout was not permitted (after being otherwise). I would stay here again if the staff were replaced, as the view was good.

Spacious, clean, affordable and central!
We were so impressed by the cleanliness of this appartment, it was so nice and spacious for a family of 4. And the views were amazing. And a short walk into the heart of the city. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Great hotel, great location
We paid $683 for a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment at the last minute. The room was quite spacious and it was nice to wake up to the hustle and bustle of Melbourne city through the floor to ceiling windows from each room. Although there were a couple of things that were broken (ie. Blinds in the living room, place where you put your soap/shampoo in the shower), the place was well equipped and had a small kitchenette where you could make and cook your own food. The hotel was only minutes walk away from Southbank and the casino, and there is a small restaurant on site. The hotel also has a small indoor, heated pool which my boys loved, a sauna that looked out into the pool, and a small gym just next to it. The walls in between the rooms and apartments were thick and we didn't hear any noise coming in from all the other rooms. We heard more noise from the street, even on level 29 but it wasn't loud enough to prevent us from having a good sleep on the comfortable beds. Even though there is reception there, oddly enough, it's separate to Southbank Apartments. So we had to call someone from Southbank to meet us there when we arrived, and any questions we had regarding our conditions of stay couldn't be answered by the reception desk (owned by Oaks) , and only with Southbank Apartments themselves. Also, because we weren't oak customers, it's not their policy to allow other customers to leave their bags at reception prior to their flight. But service was prompt & great.

Great location and hotel generally!
First time we had stayed in Southbank instead of Melbourne CBD and we've been converted! Lovely views of the river, nice big balcony, very convenient location, close to shops, restaurants and transport as well as being cheaper than a CBD apartment. Really nice and clean hotel with an almost too comfortable bed and no noise from other rooms at all. Will definitely be staying at Wrap again. The only downside is that Wrap is a hotel and independent apartment service all in one building and by booking through the apartment service we didn't have access to the hotel's concierge desk, which meant not being able to leave our bags at the hotel on checkout day (we had a late flight). Easily solved by hiring a car that day to cart our bags around with us and otherwise was a perfect stay!

Good location near Southbank.
This was a two bedroom, two bathroom furnished apartment with a Queen bed in one bedroom and two twins in the other. I found the interior too austere for my tastes due to its black and white colour scheme, no plants and complete lack of wall decorations. The kitchen furnishings are adequate for toast or cereal but one couldn't cook a more substantial meal due to limited utensils, pots and pans. There is only a kettle and coffee bags available - no plunger or moka pot so I couldn't make myself coffee to my taste. Lighting in the apartment was too dim to allow me to read comfortably in the evening. The location is excellent being just two blocks south of the river and Crown Casino. The National Gallery of Victoria, Flinders St Stn and many fine restaurants are within easy walking distance. There is a well stocked market just a block away. I was able to access basic gym facilities in the building including a rowing machine, combined weight machine, small pool and sauna. Doors were thin and noise carried down the hall quite conspicuously, but fortunately the neighbors were all quiet during later hours.

Poor customer interface and aircon
This is a residential apartment with a poor customer interface in the shape of a mobile phone carrying "concierge." It was a time consuming process to get checked in. Certainly not seamless. Aircon didn't work properly either, which was reported to management. Fault kept reappearing almost as if on a timer. Was coached by management to go to fuse box and isolate AC fuse to recommence, a process we had to re perform regularly. Even when "working" the AC seemed underpowered. Beds felt tired and lacked support. Place would have to be amazing to be worth the bother. Its not.

Easy walking in Southbank
We enjoyed our stay at Southbank Apartments. They were in easy walking distance to the MCG and all the other areas along the Southbank.

Nice hotel but heating not working
The heating/air-conditioning was not operational and it was freezing cold in Melbourne. Rang the manager although could not do anything about it that night. Next night they supplied another room to move to although we had already unpacked and having two kids and at meetings all day it was not worth moving rooms for the one night we had left. Took extra blankets from the other room and had to make do with that. We were not offered a discount or anything as a result which was not very impressive.

This apartment not managed by the Oaks hotel - therefore not able to liaise with the hotel's reception desk to discuss anything about the room. Because I stated check-in btwn 5 & 6pm I was automatically classified as 'out of hours' arrival. So, when we were avail to check in earlier (3) we were told we couldn't. Lucky it didn't matter too much for us - checked in at 5. No Tea, Coffee, Sugar or Milk in apartment. No Hairdryer either.

Excellent, felt luxurious
Loved the personal greeting when we arrived felt like we were VIP. Apartment was excellent, new and fresh, comfortable and had everything we needed and was close to everything we needed. Beds comfortable and view was amazing. Only thing I thought would have been nice is tea coffee and sugar to be provided, however there was two supermarkets close by which we bought other food for our stay anyway. I did leave the coffee, teabags and sugar tub behind so hopefully next occupants can utilise, hopefully cleaners also left it behind.

We had a two bedroom executive apartment - the views from our rooms and the balcony were breathtaking. Ensuite, bathroom and kitchen were great. The location was also outstanding.
