Cappa House, Kew by Property Mums

Step into the character and space of Cappa House, a beautiful Victorian home in Kew offering plenty of room for families and groups to spread out and enjoy time together. With six bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, generous living spaces and a wonderful sense of period charm, this is a home that makes an ideal base for exploring Melbourne or gathering together for a longer stay.

The home combines its original character with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including hydronic heating and cooling, a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities with both a washing machine and dryer. The spacious layout provides room for everyone to come together while still offering plenty of quiet spaces to retreat to. The main bathroom includes a bath and shower, with a separate toilet for added convenience, while the master bedroom has its own ensuite.

Outside, there is driveway parking for up to three cars, along with daytime charging available for electric vehicles. Please note that the garage is not available to guests.

This property is perfectly positioned in Kew, close to some of Melbourne's best inner-east cafés, restaurants, parks and entertainment. Start the day with coffee and a pastry at Frank & Harry in Kew, enjoy Italian at Centonove, or drop into Mister Blanco for a relaxed bite. Just across in Hawthorn, Piccolina is worth a visit for its gelato — try the stracciatella.

For something active, head to Kew Tennis Club for a game of tennis or enjoy a kick at the nearby oval. When you're ready to slow down, catch a movie at the iconic Lido Cinemas in Hawthorn, or explore the surrounding streets, cafés and shops. With easy access to Melbourne's eastern suburbs and the city beyond, Cappa House is a wonderful base for families, groups and friends wanting to experience Melbourne from a spacious and character-filled home.

We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a very strict no party policy at the house, which means no loud music day or night and at 11pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.

Your booking is for the whole property. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels and starter amenities are provided for your convenience.

Sorry no hens, bucks and absolutely no schoolies bookings of any kind, not even quiet ones :)
