Nach meiner Rückkehr am Nachmittag war das Zimmer noch nicht aufgeräumt. Auf Anfrage geschah die jedoch umgehend. Das Frühstück war zwar nicht billig, aber sehr gut. Das Bircher Müsli hat eine Preis verdient. Ansonsten alles prima. Komme gerne wieder.

Would have liked to know about car parking on the description of the hotel before we arrived there. We were not given a good instructions of the exact location from the reception when we arrived and ended up paying $70 in the wrong car park. We were told it happens quite often.

Nice property. Convenient area close to shopping and cafes/restaurants. Room clean. Lightning felt dull. TV didn’t work ( apparently there were technical issues across the system) whenever bathroom facilities were used in other rooms caused a loud whining noise- which wasn’t great in early hours of the morning. For our one night stay was good.

We checked in late due to our flight. Staff waited for us. Staff were friendly. We just find the toilet paper was stuck from the toilet cover every time you want to used it. And part of the bathroom floor area gets very wet due to the water leaking when you shower. The shower wall is not wide enough enough. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

A clean and comfortable room in the perfect spot for getting around Melbourne, we had great views of the city which were lovely to wake up to. The staff were kind and helpful and made our whole experience very smooth. A great hotel, would definitely stay again.

This is a perfectly fine hotel in Melbourne's CBD. It has a very good location and comvenient restaurants and shopping. By US standards, this was a 3 start hotel, which is fine. It does not have laundry service, although there are self-serve machines in the basement. It is also really hard to find a staff person to check you out if you have an early flight, although they purportedly are 24/7 front desk. I think they nay have been asleep in the back. Finally, housekeeping was lax. I was there for several nights and they did not chnage the bed linens (as evidenced by a pre-existing blood stain on a pillow case, nor did they vacuum). All of these things are normal for 2-3 star hotels (except the vacuuming thing) but by US standards this is not a 4 star hitel.

Perfect location
Excellent location. Easy to get around with the Melbourne Central Station of the free city tram in walking distance. State Library is also 3-5 minutes walk away. Just the washing machines in the self laundry are not clean for use if you happen to need the service.

Decided to go with Brady Hotel Jones Lane as it was at a competitive price and reviews were good. When I got there, seeing the exterior of the hotel, I thought | booked some dodgy place.... Don't let the exterior fool you (they're safety features). When I walked into the foyer it was a different feeling. I was greeted by Carrie, who was very friendly, smiling and welcoming. She advised me that my room was ready. Prior to my arrival I received a text from the hotel for online check in, therefore keys to room handed promptly. I also dealt with Jenny, who was as friendly and helpful. I booked a king room on the 11th floor. Room isn't big, however has the necessary comfort. Room and bathroom were very clean. Very comfortable bed. The hotel doesn't have an onsite restaurant, however there are a few eateries close by. At the time of my stay, tram services nearby were disrupted due to maintenance work (hotel website advised that). Melbourne Central is a ~10 minutes walk therefore not a major issue. The reason for 4 star is that carpet smelt musty and it’s a smell that hits you when you come out of the lift onto the floor. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Clean, comfy and compact room, perfect for short stays. I did knock off one star for the property facilities however because I was woken by an intermittent high pitched whistling noise just after midnight, when I rang reception they said that for rooms on higher floors, the wind outside can cause the internal water pipes to emit the high pitched noise. So if you are staying on a higher floor (I was on 11), suggest to bring some earplugs just in case it gets windy outside.

Convenient, clean, comfortable.
Clean, comfortable room in a great central location. Close enough to walk to the CBD as well as Fitzroy/Collingswood. Huge floor to ceiling windows and our room had a nice balcony. My only suggestion is if you are scared of heights, maybe request a lower floor room as our room was pretty high up and my spouse found it a little nerve-wracking!

Nice place to stay, however my only gripe would be that it is advertised as an apartment, whereas it is only a room with a TV and a bed basically. No microwave, no toaster, no food making facilities whatsoever. Not what I would suggest for a 5 night stay unless you can afford to eat all meals out. Bathroom was also pretty small. Otherwise all else was good
