We were impressed!! Great value. Nicely equipped clean room. Exceptionally friendly and professional staff. Right kind of breakfast including hot items. Good coffee and cookies always available at lobby. Nice guests and their well mannered pets. We will recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stay at Home Inn Express whenever I am in Medicine Hat. It feels like a home away from home! It's clean, comfortable, pet-friendly and in a convenient part of MH. Mostly though - it's the staff. They are extremely kind and very helpful. Look forward to my next visit!

Check in was super easy, and I really like that there is only a $50 deposit rather than $250 like some hotels. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Very clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff, cozy rooms, PS3 system with free game or dvd rental in the room, fridge and microwave in room, lots of plug ins for charging devices, coffee and cookies available all the time fee of charge and extremely reasonable price - will definitely stay again!!

This property is ideal for those just looking for a place to sleep and then get back on the road. Our basic room was very clean with 2 double (not queen) beds which had relatively soft mattresses. Breakfast food was pretty well gone by 8;30 am. The dining area is very limited however the hotel staff allowed people to sit in the lobby area to eat so it all worked out. Restaurants are close by.

There was a minor issue with the bathroom sink, it was plugged so I had to make do. What really troubled me was the addition of a damage deposit to my bill, Ive never encountered this before. I didn't like it one bit. Had I damaged or stolen anything, you already had my credit card number and authorization. Other than that everything was fine.

We implement a 50 incidental fee for every stay to cover potential charges to the room, such as the purchase of a bathrobe, etc. Should there be any damages, this 50 could be applied; however, it's important to note that it might not cover significant damages. Regrettably, we are unable to process additional charges on someone's card without the completion of the necessary paperwork, meaning the 50 serves as a minimal safeguard in case of incidents. It's also worth mentioning that most hotels we are aware of implement some form of deposit policy.
