Hello Juan, I trust you're doing well. This is Mariana Arango, the manager at Be Mate hotel. Firstly, I'd like to clarify that I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you. Therefore, it's unclear why the message suggests that I requested a card from you, as I have personally never seen you until today. Secondly, as is customary in reputable hotels, we ask for a credit card to temporarily secure a damage deposit. As explained during check-in, this deposit can also be settled in cash and refunded during checkout, allowing the guest to decide the preferred method. Since you mentioned not having cash, we requested the card for the temporary hold, which was promptly released upon your checkout. At no point were you asked for a PIN, and no photo of the CCV was taken. Consequently, I kindly request you to refrain from providing inaccurate information to our future guests. What you mentioned in the comments is entirely untrue, as we never met, and I did not photograph the pin of your card.

Dear Dominik. We offer you an apology for what happened, something that should not happen. We have always been known for providing not only excellent service but also excellent comfort and cleanliness, we will verify what happened with the area in charge. It was precisely because of our strict security measures, which prevent entry of people hiding and without documents, that we encountered problems during your stay due that you didnt want to follow the rules, Therefore, we appreciate it if the comments you leave are transparent and objective. The rules regarding visitors were explained before and after booking, and it is the guest's responsibility to read and comply with them.

Buenas tardes Johan, agradecemos tu feedback pero en ningún momento el personal tiene la intención de hacerte sentir mal, sin embargo tal como lo mencionas en tu review ya has venido varias veces al establecimiento y te hemos repetido en varias ocasiones la misma política frente a los visitantes y las cuales no van a cambiar, este es un hotel donde nos caracterizamos por ser muy estrictos en este tema por la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes y del personal, por lo que te invitamos a que busques un establecimiento que sea mas laxo con este tema, y no tengas inconformidades con el servicio.
