„Wir hatten einen durchwachsenen Aufenthalt im Golden Pearl. Ankunft war okay, Fruchtsaft aus der Packung typisches Zuckerwasser. Freundlichkeit die wir sonst so gewohnt sind war wenig vorhanden. Wir gingen auf Zimmer, Koffer wurden uns getragen - sehr nett! Wir gingen ins Zimmer welches schön aber dennoch stark abgewohnt war. Uns wurde das Bad gezeigt wo uns gleich eine Kakalake begrüßte. Der mitarbeiter traute sich selbst kaum ins Bad bis sein Kollege einen Besen nahm und die Schabe entfernte. ...

„We stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible. The room was spacious and we got a room overlooking the sea, which was fantastic. It was clean and cozy, and very quiet and peaceful at night. Rosemary, our front desk host was also lovely. She always had a little chat with us during breakfast each morning. The villa is right in the middle of Tangalle, and we made a few day trips from there, each around an hour or more away. Even so, it felt really nice coming back to Ziba after a day out ...

„Every member of staff that we met from arrival to departure was fantastic. Very polite, courteous & extremely helpful. Catered for all our needs. We booked this place last minute due to having to change our original plan (Kandy & Ella) because of the recent Cyclone. Although Lagoon Gate can appear a little isolated it is an absolute gem as you are in and amongst nature & right on the Lagoons edge. It is so easy to get out & about, the staff will order Tuk Tuks or Taxis for you or if you feel ...

„Wir kommen wieder. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind Freunde geworden. Zimmer sind grosszügig und sauber. Der Strand ist ein Traum. Im Hotel gleich nebenan kann man an der strandbar jederzeit was essen und trinken. Haben einige Ausflüge gemacht. War echt schön. Zum Baden sollte man mit dem tuctuc an eine andere Bucht fahren, wo die Strömung nicht so stark ist. Zum Relaxen ist das *the waves* the best place ever. “

„We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. „This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed).
