„A beautiful location! It was lovely to sit and enjoy the view, whatever the weather. We also enjoyed exploring and walking in the local area. Communication and check-in were simple and the property matched the description. In fact, living areas were larger than I expected and we wished we’d invited another couple to join us (we only used one bedroom).“

„Beautiful property and stay. Rooms are spacious and lots of areas to enjoy. Stephanie was very helpful and generous with breakfast supplies. Garden and fire pit also a great addition to enjoy. Close proximity to Mayfield Gardens. Local O’Connell pub a short stroll. Cafe across road. Thank you for sharing your fabulous property. Amazing value and Highly recommend. “

„The property grounds are lovely, both at the front entry and at the back patio. The beds were quite comfortable, including heating blankets to help fight the fall chill while we were in town. Also appreciated the eggs and milk waiting for us in the fridge.We were visiting Bathurst for my son’s ultimate frisbee tournament, so the onsite washer and dryer came in handy. We enjoyed the easy and beautiful river walk from the rental to Learmonth Park each day.“

„We stayed at Old Alloway for a long weekend as part of our first-ever book club retreat—and it was a complete success. The house is absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it feel like a true escape. Yet, we were only 10 minutes from the heart of Bathurst, which made exploring the local area easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly loved our stay and couldn’t recommend Old Alloway ...

„The house was as described. It was clean, comfortable and in a quiet area, just 5 minutes from the city. It suited our needs beautifully - 3 mature couples wanting a reunion and to explore the area. Three bathrooms gave us privacy and the two communal areas were useful. Access was easy with the key lock and we had no need to meet a host. Highly recommend.“

"Die Unterkunft im amerikanischen Motel-Stil hält im Wesentlichen, was sie verspricht. Wenn ich mir hier die Bilder der Unterkunft anschaue, dann sind diese allerdings vielleicht ein wenig zu positiv dargestellt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist etwas ungünstiger, da man für vergleichbaren Komfort durchaus auch schon mal ein inbegriffenes Frühstück erwarten kann. Für mich die entscheidende Frage bleibt immer, ob ich hier nochmal übernachten würde. Und diese Frage kann ich rückblickend mit "ja" beantworten. Für mehr als zwei Übernachtungen würde ich dann allerdings eine besser ausgestattete Unterkunft bevorzugen."
