„If you are looking for a campsite athmosphere, and historic cabins, meaning old, badly maintained and small cabins (we stayed in Tumble Inn), then this is the place to stay. The surroundings are beautiful, the lake water is clear and brown (due to the woods) and hiking trails are easy to reach. Positive: after initial complaint, the friendly staff spent two hours to clean the cabin and the windows, which improved our stay a lot. “

„Had a wonderful 10-day trip for 5. Plenty of space, great views and clean property. Home is stocked with only the basics so ensure you bring everything you need. The inclinator is an easy way down to the dock but be careful if you take the stairs- they are steep and narrow. “

„Simple 3 bedroom cottage with everything you need for a quiet getaway. Cozy. Sandy beach entrance for children. Would recommend water shoes to swim. Comfortable distance to Bracebridge or Port Carling for stocking up. “

„Our stay at Steve's cottage last week was nothing short of magical. The highlight, without a doubt, was the **absolutely spectacular sunset view over Penn Lake, right from the private dock. „The property was exactly as described and pictured. Our multi-generational family of 9 total had more than ample room to enjoy all the activities. The upstairs games room was a bonus but definitely needs some sort of ventilation...even a ceiling fan. If the property was available next year((we already checked lol) we would have booked it again.“

„The owner was terrific and very easy to communicate with. The listing was accurate and the cottage was well-kept and in very good order. A most enjoyable stay. “

„Our stay was perfect and exactly as described. There was enough room for 6 guests. Kitchen and bedrooms were perfect. There were kayaks, a paddle board, canoe and more for us to use. The location was great, right on the water and close to golf courses. Would most definitely recommend! “

„The cottage is very nicely set up with everything that you could need. It’s very clean and well-maintained.It’s a little far from any stores and can give a sense that it’s very secluded. The only place to go for a walk is on the gravel road. We came there to go fishing and found that there were not a lot of bites at all. While we did catch a few, it was not a very good lake for a fishing trip, which was our purpose. If you are not going for fishing then the lake is beautiful for swimming, etc. ...

„The property is exactly as advertised. Super clean, well stocked kitchen, lots of space both indoors and out. Lake front is sandy and swimming was great. Fishing even yielded results! This may become a yearly hangout it was so perfect. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Oh and I didn’t even mention the games room. There was so much to do we didn’t even use it but it was the bomb!“

„Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. “
