„We utilize VRBO for our family travels! JP property was an exceptional host! He ensured that our experience was top notch. Over the top with all supplies needed for our family travels. We were a party of eight, parents and siblings!Enjoyed gathering together in this exceptional home after a full day of exploring Washington DC. Location was ideal. Will revisit again in future.“

„We were happy with this property. The basics were good: large comfy beds, decent showers, good living room and dining area, good a/c (much appreciated in the summer heat), big yard (with antlered deer!) and attached small playground, kitchen with adequate utensils/dishes/pots, quiet street and area. The owner was pleasant and responsive. Some of the “touches” needed work: very small kitchen, refrigerator was in the entry room and leaked water periodically, LR rug was stained, inadequate ...

„The location was the only good thing about this place. There’s plastic on the couches that sit very low to the floor and are difficult to get up from. This is like a college rental. The minute I walked in we could hear everything the upstairs neighbors were saying and doing, not even during a party, just walking and talking. My elderly father was with me who has a heart issue and needs sleep so I immediately messaged the property owner asking for a refund since we could not possibly stay there. ...

„Clean room. Quiet.“

„Very nice property conveniently located for visiting Mount Vernon, DC, and Old Town Alexandria.“

„Lovely space. So delighted by the king size bed. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Easy access to Metro and access into the Capital. 5 stars, would stay here again. “

„We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully fully renovated 1800s carriage house. The property seamlessly blends historic charm with high-end modern luxury, and it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The amenities provided were fantastic and made our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the biggest highlights is the location—it is an easy 2-minute walk to shopping and groceries, making it incredibly convenient. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!“

„The host Dave was fantastic. The place and location was great. Very easy access to Georgetown and Washing DC. Walking distance to a supermarket and across to a park. I highly recommend.“

„Very clean and centrally located“

„This was such a cute place to stay! It was perfect for my family and me. We drove some and used Uber when needed, which made getting around easy. Washington, D.C. is such a beautiful city with so many things to see and do. We hope to come back again someday. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish you all the best!“

„Beautiful home. Very clean and well stocked. Great back yard. Will stay here again when back in the area.“

„The kitchen area, dining room and living room are updated. The upstairs rooms and bathrooms are not. It is an old building and you can see that you are renovating the rooms one at a time.“

„We had a great time and the host was amazing! Definitely recommend. The location was perfect.“

„Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC ...

„The space was very clean, conveniently located, and just what we needed for our short visit.“

„It whas the whole time a good time in this accomodation. The hosts were very friendly and it was a pleasant stay there.“

„Communicate with the owner first, make sure you pay for parking if needed“

„I found the property as described and entry/exit was smooth. In addition to that the host was very responsive to make the stay excellent for us. Thanks a lot“

„All rooms were spacious and very clean. Location is a quiet and parking was very convenient. The only suggestion is that for individuals who are chemically sensitive the air plug ins that are used are overwhelming. If you unplug them the smell quickly dissipates. I would highly recommend this rental.“
