Not much in the area to do but had a first class meal in town.
The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable.
Had a wonderful time at the donkey sanctuary which is a must see.
Went to local winery (McGregor) and spent some monies there.

âA great place to stay with lots of space and thoughtful touches. A lovely welcome from Joanna when we arrived. There is a very good restaurant that often has musicians playing nearby, the Courtyard. Great to have secure parking.
The place does need a little TLC but all very doable.
Also the smell of the jasmine in the garden was beautiful

The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect.â

âBoth Wendy and her colleague were very friendly and welcoming, which made for a delightful calm overnight stay. So glad there was a small swimming pool to cool off in. All facilities very clean etc â

"We had a fabulous stay at the farms cottage and were welcomed with complementary sourdough bread and yummy spreads. It is very nicely decorated, spacious and comes with a hot tub that is lovely at night time - I never saw so many stars before.
We had their on-site dinner the first night: my 3 year old daughter nearly finished the entire piece of lasagne as it was so yummy. The farm is lovely: a Trampolin for the kids, the heated pool that we used daily, the friendliness, chicken and dogs that live a happy live and very friendly staff. We needed to see a doctor with one of our kids and they completely took care of recommending a GP and booking an appointment which we more then appreciated.
We will definitely come again.

"Wunderbare Unterkunft mit netter Gastgeberin in einer ganz tollen Lage.
Bereits zu Beginn erwartete uns eine Erfrischung mit zwei GlĂ€sern Wein. Die Zimmer sind modern und gerĂ€umig gestaltet. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Klimaanlage war relativ laut, aber die schöne grĂŒne Lage bringt auch etliches an fliegenden Getier mit sich, sodass ein Fenster-Ăffnen eher schwierig ist. Man muss hier also einen Kompromiss finden.
Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war richtig lecker und mit das beste Omelette unserer Reise. Dies konnte man in einem herrlichen Garten mit schönen Blick genieĂen. Unser Star war hier die Schildkröte. WĂ€hrenddessen wurde sogar das Auto gewaschen.
Die Lage war perfekt. 5 Gehminuten entfernt zu dem Nationalpark und 15 Gehminuten zu den Restaurants (wo man sogar nachts zurĂŒcklaufen konnte).
Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen."
