„Check it was easy. Very big, open spaces for being a single bedroom condo. They had multiple sleeping arrangements, even though we used the main bed. Had enough cooking utensils to make anything we wanted. I did wish the TVs were bigger, maybe that's just a personal gripe but still being that we stayed in a lot it was something I noticed. „All the basics were there except that the A/C stopped working 2 days before I left and it was very hot especially at night. Some things were lacking: no chests of drawers to put clothes in, no folding holder for your suitcase and not enough hangers. (I left some of mine there). It needed some paintings on the walls and some other decorative touches to make it less impersonal and more inviting. It was well equipped otherwise and nice and clean and had good blackout curtains.“

„Modern, comfortable home near stores and restaurants. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the home kept up well but the cleaners must have used dirty mops. We take our shoes off when entering the house and when we looked at the bottom of our socks they were black. The floor is a grey/brown so you can’t tell they are dirty. The kitchen just has 4 place settings so we were forced to do dishes by hand after every meal which was a hassle. Four more place settings help when you have 4 people ...

"Das Holiday Inn McAllen ist ein mittelprächtiges Hotel ohne spezielle Features. Es ist preiswert und angenehm hier zu logieren und die wichtigste Strasse in McAllen, die 10th St., ist nur 200 Meter entfernt. Zudem ist es extrem nah beim Flughafen. Im Hotel gibt es eine quartergefütterte Waschmaschine und Tumbler. Das ist wichtig, denn das Klima im Süden von Texas gleicht dem einer Waschküche in einer Sauna (oder umgekehrt). Jedes Kleidungsstück trägt man nur ein einziges Mal, dann muss man es waschen! Von hier sind es nur 90 Minuten zur Starbase in Boca Chica. Ein Muss für Spacee Nerds! "
