Schöne Lage, gutes Hotel, Essen lala
War alles gut, nur das Essen ist eher 2-3 Sterne Niveau und nicht 4 Sterne wert. Das Servicepersonal im Speisesaal ist aber kaum motiviert. Trotz All-Inclusiv-Cocktails gab es keine Ausschreitungen. Das Meer ist nur leider zum schwimmen zu wild.

Mittelklasse Hotel mit schönem Strand
Das Hotel ist komplett auf englisches Publikum ausgerichtet. Das zeigt sich besonders am Frühstück. Das Personal ist sachlich aber nie besonders höflich. Ein Lächeln sieht man fast nie. Die Kinder lässt man mit Essen und Getränken in den Pool obwohl es laut Hotel verboten ist. Der Ausblick vom Hotel ist traumhaft und der Strand wirklich schön. Das Hotel ist sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt zu zweit.
Sehr schöne All-Inklusive-Anlage direkt am Strand. Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Traumblick auf den Pool und das Meer. Schöner Strand, auch mit Getränkeservice vom Hotel. Meer jedoch zeitweise sehr unruhig, nichts für Nichtschwimmer. Frühstück eher englisch. Abendessen als Buffet sehr schön und abwechslungsreich. Waren eine Woche im Hotel im Anschluss einer Kreuzfahrt. Hat uns sehr gefallen.

Sehr schoen, Preis/Leistung entspricht aber nicht ganz den Erwartungen
Super Lage an tollem Traumstrand wie aus dem Katalog. Teils heftiger Wellengang, was wir persoenlich toll fanden, fuer kleine Kinder aber nicht geeignet. Gutes und neues Wassersport-Equipment zur Leihe eingeschlossen. Grosse Unterschiede beim Personal - von extrem herzlich und nett bis recht unfreundlich, gelangweilt und nicht gut geschult ist alles dabei. Essen: Cocktails und Drinks ok - aber kein Bar Niveau. Fruehstueck sehr einfach, Lunch mittelmaessig, Dinner sehr gut und auch a la carte moeglich. Alles in allem toller Aufenthalt, allerdings auch ungewoehnlich teuer und hat die dementsprechend hohen Erwartungen nicht ganz erfuellt. Wuerden das naechste Mal ein anderes Hotel probieren. Anderswo gibt es fuer wesentlich weniger Geld besseren Service.

Perfekt relaxt nach anstrengender Rundreise!
Wir waren glücklich, das Hotel auf Barbados beim Spaziergang doch noch gefunden zu haben. Perfekte Lage an einem der schönsten Strände der Insel, freundliches Personal, toller Service - und: im Gegensatz zur ortsüblichen "nur-Übernachtung" haben wir den AI-Service sehr genossen! Allerdings - das ist ein winziger Minuspunkt: läßt sich das Hotel den AI-Service und die exquisite Lage am Strand teuer bezahlen. Wir würden aber, nachdem sich das Konto erholt hat, gern wiederkommen! Selbst die einfliegenden Urlaubsjets haben uns nicht gestört.

Baden im Meer leider nicht möglich
WIr würden bei einem weitern Besuch von Barbados die Westküste vorziehen, da wir während unseres Urlaubs an der Südküste nicht im Meer baden konnten. Hierfür war das Meer immer zu unruhig und das Baden wegen der Strömung gefährlich bzw. wegen der hohen Wellen nicht möglich. An der Südküste stoßen Atlantik und Karibisches Meer aufeinander, während an der Westküste im ruhigen Karibischen Meer gebadet werden kann.

Room: The rooms are dated are require renovation, but we were aware of this prior to booking the trip. The rooms were clean, but we did have a leak in our bathroom which was fixed fairly quickly by the staff. Rooms have blackout curtains, but sunlight came through in the center and at the bottom making it difficult to sleep in. Food: The food was generally okay. I always appreciate an omelet bar and the bacon was good, so breakfast worked well for my needs. The lunch menus were hit and miss, with some meals being quite enjoyable; while others were not good at all. I appreciate that there was variety. We did not eat dinner at the resort often and chose to go to local restaurants, but there was some type of entertainment each day. Beach: On our first few days, the beach was absolutely beautiful. The beach was clean and the waves were tolerable if you are comfortable in the water. The water became very choppy and the waves were dangerous for the last half of our trip, and there was a lot of seaweed which was not cleared from the beach. However, the neighbouring hotel has a wall in place that reduces the amount of waves that is accessible by guests at Turtlebeach. Location: The location was great in relation to the airport and St. Lawrence Gap area. We walked over to the Gap a few times for dinner which was a nice change from hotel food.

The property was great. We visited with an 11 month old baby and it was very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond in making sure that we had everything we needed and that we enjoyed our stay. On our last day, we forgot some items in the hotel and the staff made sure that our items reached us at the airport before our international flight. Overall, the service and care we received was phenomenal

Beautiful resort. Nice beach. Hotel is old. Just a few outlets. Phones do not work. We could not call another room. We were in the 4th floor with broken elevator. We were moved to another wing with working elevator. The stuff was great. Good was good. I like. There were no activities at all which we liked. It was quiet and relaxing and nobody bothered us. You can take taxi to any place you like. It’s cheaper than pay for excursion with transportation. Take some bread and go to the riff at the next door hotel Sandals to feed fish. You can swim there too if waters are ruff. We had great time.

Property around the hotel needs significant repairs and refresh. Very old and dated too. Rooms were quite large though. Some staff were really great, most I encountered were not friendly or helpful at all. Water sports employees were amazing though. Hundreds of birds and their excrement everywhere throughout food service areas. Very unhygienic. Food was very average. Saw multiple staff regularly scrolling on social media. Overall was very disappointed with the hotel - would never stay there again.

This was my 4th stay at Turtle Beach. The staff, dining choices and location are excellent. The resort needs extensive renovations as each room I have stayed in shows a lot of wear and tear. However, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and it is still my preferred hotel in the area.

The food and drinks were good. Our room was clean, and the A/C worked great. The staff were all fantastic. And the beaches were amazing. The fire alarm rang 4 times throughout a 24 hour period which startled us as we were sleeping. We inquired about it the following day at the front desk, but were never told what the issue was. There are 3 restaurants on site, all of which are covered with a roof, but open on all sides (no walls or doors). This allows the birds access to your dining experience. My wife left her plate unattended for a minute to grab a drink, and had a bird land on her plate and pick at her food on two separate occasions. Other than that, it is a nice property, and we enjoyed our time there.

Our Family enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very clean. Our meals were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but they could use some remodeling other than that we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
