„We came to Matlock with the kids and grandkids from Canada, to show them their roots! The house was just perfect. A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time, and it was hard to leave!“

„We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink.“

„We have just enjoyed a fantastic fews days at Robertswood House. Marylyn has been brilliant throughout the booking process. The house is fantastic with all the amenities we needed. And the views were incredible. We will be booking again.“

„Located 15mins from Matlock, this property is in an excellent quiet location. Beds comfortable, Hot Tub which was clean and perfect temperature the moment we arrived. Odd bit of maintenance Ive informed the owner about but did not affect our stay. Communication was constant throughout the stay answering questions we had almost instantly. Really nice touches like washing up liquid, condiments and small things you would not expect from a vrbo property. The games room which was a hit with my kids. ...

„The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it.“

„Perfect Location!! We really enjoyed our stay here - we had 8 family members, young, old and in between! The local hiking and the views are nearly perfect, the roads are NARROW!! The host is fantastic and apart from a few worn edges (walls could use a clean in the kitchen and carpets cleaned) is is a great rental. The pub across the street - great food, beer and service.“

„Derwent House is a beautiful period building across a quiet lane from a park in the centre of Matlock. Great location for walking to restaurants and bars. Easy access to drive to local attractions. Comfortable beds, most rooms ensuite. Lots of space for sitting together in the kitchen or dining room and comfortable front room. Only downside is this house has LOW DOORS! We had at least 3 bumped heads as all doors and stairs have low head space!! Also the drain blocked whilst we were there ...

"In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. Auf die freundliche Frage, ob sie ein anderes bekommen könnte wurde recht unfreundlich geantwortet, dass es nicht möglich ist. Sehr schade, da das Haus an sich wirklich schön ist. "
