Das Hotel liegt direkt am Eingang zum Sassi-Stadtteil, ist geschmackvoll/praktisch eingerichtet, ruhig, und hat eine stylische Rooftop-Bar. Preiswerte Parkmöglichkeit in 200 m Entfernung. Gerne wieder.

Only a few steps away from the main piazza (Piazza Vittorio Veneto) with many dining options available nearby. Very « chic » hotel. Roof terrace with a view of the Cathedral. Warm welcoming!

Very nice hotel, great location, extremely kind, friendly, and extremely helpful service from Paolo at the front desk and the nice lady in charge of the breakfast buffet. The breakfast included various sweet items, cakes, cereals, yogurt but also bruschetta and eggs and bacon plus fruit.it's an excellent hotel and highly recommended. We parked on the adjoining street paying the fees with the app easypark. You cannot drive right up to the hotel. We found parking at a bit under 100 meters away but were lucky. We would stay there again. Restaurant recommendation Annina 1937. The front desk will make a reservation for you.

Decepcionante hotel que no corresponde categoria
No me parece tenga la categoria de 4* y muy caro para lo que ofrecen. Intentaron colocarnos en una habitación justo al lado de unas obras muy ruidosas y con mucho polvo. Gesto bastante feo a pesar que les solicitamos en recepción estar alejados de las obras que ya vimos eran molestas. Finalmente tras quejarnos nos cambiaron de habitación a la otra punta. La ducha no tragaba el desagüe y se inundó el suelo de baño y habitación. No nos pudimos duchar adecuadamente. La papelera del baño no funcionaba el pedal y se debía abrir a mano, poco higiénico.Pasamos mucha calor en la habitación. No hubo atención en el desayuno y no reponían lo que se iba acabando. El servicio de recepción bastante corto en horario, no se podía entrar antes de las 14 o 15 (no recuerdo) y a las 18h cerraban, había un número de teléfono por si se necesitaba contactar. Tiene muy buena ubicación eso sí, lo mejor.

Great staff, great hotel
Our stay was excellent. The service was perfect. The person at the front desk was very helpful and friendly helping us with a map and great recommendations as to what to see in Matera. The staff on the terrace was also friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much!

The Palazzo is located on a limited traffic street just uphill from the main square. Quiet and peaceful. Easy walking to all Matera sights. Nice rooftop bar, with good views. Hotel emails gave us parking instructions--short trek with rollaboards from across the main square. Self-service laundromat across from park a short distance from hotel.

Excellent, stylish hotel in city centre
An excellent, stylish hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Just one thing: we had a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor and were woken up very early each morning by the sounds of food sellers setting up their stalls in the street below, which continued for several hours.

Hotel in un palazzo storico ben ristrutturato in centro. Avevamo due stanze, piacevoli; sicuramente meglio quella con l’affaccio sulla strada; l’altra non aveva finestre sull’esterno. Personale della reception e della colazione (buona e varia) professionale e gentile; unico neo la pulizia delle stanze, assolutamente non ottimale per il livello dell’hotel. Le addette alla reception hanno ovviato in vari modi. Comunque credo che ci torneremmo

THE place to stay in Matera
This is an amazing hotel, the staff is eager to help make the Matera stay as good as it can be. The hotel is right off the Piazza and is a pedestrian area for most of the day. A shout out to Francesca who was able describe where to park and even came up the street to help with my luggage. Definitely coming back!

Superb location - value for money
Hotel has a superb location in the busy city center of Matera, with the old town very few steps away. Rooms are nice, area is wonderful, service is friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and hotel in general offers much value and a sense of luxury for the price. Small complaints may be, that this was the first and only place on our entire bybycle-trip where the hotel could not offer parking but recommended a paid parking for 5 Eur/night/bike. Our otherwise lovely room had a small section close to our (nice) balcony where (very) small ants were found on the floor. Small details in an otherwise very nice impression. Matera is really worth a visit of several nights, and if we come back, we would presumably still pick this hotel as our home.

Hotel is really well located near the main square and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and the rooms have nice design features. Breakfast buffet was small but nice with the usual cold meats and croissants fare. I would definitely stay here again. Location really is fantastic for both access to the train station and for exploring Matera.
