„Stayed five times, excellent hotel fro a short break away .“

„Alles bestens, Danke“

„Pretty average“

„It’s always a very nice experience staying there. Nice people at the bar. Good breakfast, my Room was newly renovated. See you next Time.“

„I've stayed at the Trout a number of times, it is a pretty, well maintained hotel with lots of character and ideally placed to explore Cockermouth, the Western Lakes and the national park. The food is good and the staff are professional and very friendly.“

„It was a great stay with very good Food and very kind staff. We will definitely come back!“

„The room was clean but very basic and only just adequate. The breakfast itself was convenient, but the breakfast dishes and food were left out all afternoon and evening, which didn't give the impression of good cleanliness or food hygiene. Overall, the hotel was clean enough, but I expected better attention to the breakfast area.“

„Bed was awful but the people who work there are extremely helpful and nice and the cooked breakfast was superb. Get a ev charger !!“

„This is an old interesting building so you have to take that into consideration, Room was clean, staff very helpful, food very good . Parking is not a problem but be careful of the access. All in all an enjoyable stay, recommended.“
