The staff were extremely helpful and kind, though particularly at breakfast time they were often severely understaffed, with many people having to wait a long time to order breakfast.
The breakfast itself was standard, some eggs cooked to your choosing, with some bread and jam/ honey. We were a little disappointed with this.
The biggest disappointment was our room - it was on the ground floor and as such denied us any privacy, as in the morning people were having breakfast directly outside our door/ window and a couple even mistook it for a common space, opening our door while we were inside.
It also had no rack to dry towels, so as soon as we had used our towels, they would remain wet. We asked twice that our room be cleaned and the towels changed, which unfortunately did not happen, despite leaving our key with the reception.
One evening after a workout, I decided to go in the pool at the centre of the Riad, and quickly realised that I had disturbed quite a lot of sediment at the bottom of the pool and that the water was very dirty and so I immediately got out.
At this stage I feel I must say that the two gentlemen running the Riad were extremely helpful, personable and kind, and that they went above and beyond to book us taxis and a massage, and to replace our towels and wash our clothes when asked, but overall we had high expectations of staying in a luxurious Riad, and though the design and decoration of the Riad are beautiful, these expectations were not met.
