If you are staying in Marrakesh, you must stay at a riad for the full experience and this one is excellent. Jamilla and all the staff are excellent, friendly, and you get a very personalised service. The breakfast each morning is also excellent.
The only thing of concern is the location. Although its situated in an excellent location, close to the Souks and main square (10-15 minutes walk) it is located within an alleyway which would be near impossible to find the first time even with a map and gps. For this reason I would recommend getting the airport transfer, which at 18 euros is reasonable and standard for all hotels/riads in the old town. (although pricey when compared to just getting a taxi in Marrakesh, I think you can get one for 50-100 dh but its unlikely a taxi will be able to find this place, and there is a walk-only alleyway to navigate). HOWEVER after the end of our first full day we got the hang of it no problems! Its also really safe because its near a palace so you will see lots of soldiers and armed guards. When we first arrived we thought it was unsafe to see all these soldiers everywhere, and people seem to loiter around at night, but after being in Marrakesh for a day, we realised this is just the culture and people are generally friendly.
