Award for being a perfect accomodation
This hotel is amazing. Nothing to complain. 100% clean, an award for their kindness and hospitality, to every one, the owner, Mich, Jamie, Jackie, and all the rest I unfortunately don't know their names! The mattress was too hard, the next day I had a topper. Their breakfast a treat. Free parking in front of the door, area. You have a very good hair dryer and an iron board and a tea and coffee corner. My meds needed to be cold, they made no fuss (not like my other hotel) This hotel is a role model for every other hotel. Beautiful design, and not to forget their delicious restaurant. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable

Romantisches Boutique-Hotel
Sehr gemütliches und schön eingerichtetes Zimmer. Etwas eng und das Bad war klein, trotzdem superior gebucht war. Frühstückszeiten waren mehr als Richtlinie zu sehen und das Angebot war eher schmal, aber sehr gut. Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Nähe zum Zentrum und zum Strand ist sehr gut.

Jederzeit wieder
Tolles hotel mit liebevoll eingerichteten, vor einiger zeit renovierten, zimmer, was man von aussen niemals vermuten würde. Frühstücksraum ist ebenfalls toll eingerichtet. Das frühstück (karte) war schmackhaft und der service top. Wenn margate, dann crescent victoria.

Zimmer mit Meerblick
Schönes freundliches Hotel, modernes Zimmer, leider nur ein Minibad u WC jedoch für Kurzurlaub ausreichend. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten. Gutes Frühstück, jedoch mit langer Wartezeit. Sehr freundliches Service. Kommen gerne wieder :-)

Great view and close to all the Margate sights and the Turner Gallery. Very friendly and helpful staff and we had a good price for a 2 night family stay. We also found a terrific breakfast cafe just up the road. All good.

Happy with all aspects of my stay here. Room was clean and comfortable with all I needed for a one night stay. Only thing that needs attention is the online info which still says breakfast is included, but clearly has not been so for some time. Not a problem as plenty of places to eat nearby, but it would be better if this was clear when booking as it's not an arrangement that would suit everyone.

We arrived late and the night porter was very accommodating, including opening the bar so we could get drinks. The hotel isn't overburdened with facilities, which is good, because we then weren't tempted to stay in. Only food served seems to be a Sunday roast, for which we weren't around Although the hotel doesn't do breakfast, the Fort Cafe, which is a 3 minute walk does an amazing breakfast. The Hotel is very convenient for the old town, local pubs/ restaurants and the Turner Gallery, all only a few minutes walk. Street parking was quite easy.

We booked this hotel around a week before we travelled as it had good reviews. I tried contacting the hotel by phone on several occasions over two days before booking but no one was answering the phone and my answerphone message wasn't responded to. That aside, the two ladies we dealt with on Reception on arrival and departure were excellent and the room was well furnished and modern. However, I did notice a layer of dust on the lamp base when I had the lamp on in the evening which did make me wonder how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The smoke alarm in the room was also missing it's cover and the lights were behaving a little strangely when switched on first thing in the morning (constantly dimming and then getting brighter for the first couple of minutes). These were just minor niggles but still annoying. We were also a little concerned that being on the top floor (third floor?) whether we'd get out in the event of a fire with no fire escape. I'm sure the hotel met fire regs but we were still concerned all the same. Overall, our stay was a comfortable one and the hotel has obviously had a lot of investment in recent years (it was presumably a former guest house?). One other thing to mention is parking. On street parking in the area was difficult to come by if you were looking to park close to the hotel. There is, though, a pay & display car park a couple of streets away.

Weekend visit
Had some very loud late night arrivals from the gig venue, also a very hot night and with windows open a lot of noise from the street so a very noisy night. Room was otherwise quite nice and staff was helpful. Also location is good.

unfortunately we cannot police the noise outside, i believe you stayed in september, i think that was probably the hottest weather we had this year, if you were to stay with us again, maybe try one of our back rooms, the footfall its quieter . But thankyou for your review

best in margate to date
I arrived a little earlier than the check in time but that wasn't a problem and I was able to get my key promptly the room was brilliant for the price and everything worked and the cleanliness was on point staff were helpful and friendly and let me leave my bag after checking out to enjoy the rest of my day

Great stop over for gigging in Margate
Nice clean room, plenty of space, simple check in. Few tiny niggles round the edges which can be easily fixed. E.g. turn heating on prior to arrivals so room is nice and warm.

The room was okay. The mattress was very uncomfortable and there was no soap or shampoo in the shower. The springs could be felt when you lay down. I was told on checking in that someone was at the front desk 24/7. When I went to find someone Sat. morning no one was there during the hour I tried. When I tried to phone reception the line was busy, I finally left a note on the desk with,my phone number but no one rang the entire day. The only person working there was a lady who told me she was there to clean. She but some extra duvets over the mattress. The are around the hotel has many deserted buildings.

It was a cute property but some basic cleanliness issues. The fan had clumps of dust hanging off of it, the side tables were a little sticky, the carpet needed a vacuum, and the window ledge was piled high with pigeon poop. I think these are all fixable.issurs that can be easily addressed by a regular cleaning. The staff was nice. I would advise requesting a room on the lower floor if you have large/heavy bags.
