Unique mudbrick retreat with a cosy wood fire, beautiful gardens and a secure pet-friendly yard. Just a short walk to the river, native forest trails and the township café strip, Le Souef Retreat offers a peaceful and character-filled escape. Four bedrooms, spacious living areas and tranquil surroundings create the perfect base to relax, unwind and explore the region.

Le Souef Retreat is a spacious and welcoming mudbrick home full of authentic Margaret River character. Set amongst beautiful established gardens on a large securely fenced block, the home combines peaceful surroundings with a convenient walk-to-town location.

Inside, the spacious open-plan living area features comfortable furnishings, retro touches and a cosy sunken lounge with a freestanding wood fire — perfect for cooler winter evenings.

The timber kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and all the cookware and utensils needed for relaxed holiday meals.

The home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms:
• 1 x King bedroom
• 2 x Queen bedrooms
• 1 x Bedroom with 2 King Single beds

Electric blankets are fitted to all beds for added comfort during winter stays.

Upstairs includes three bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a spacious second living area and a balcony overlooking the Margaret River township and valley.

One of the home’s most special features is its authentic craftsmanship and use of recycled local materials, including timber from the historic Fremantle Wool Stores, recycled kiln bricks from Pemberton and a striking Toodyay stone floor in the lounge room.

Outside, the expansive gardens provide a peaceful setting for long lunches, evening drinks and relaxed outdoor entertaining. Native birdlife is abundant throughout the day, while white-tailed bandicoots are often spotted in the evenings.

The Margaret River and native Jarrah and Karri forest are located just a three-minute walk away, while cafés, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance.

Guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Margaret River wine, Bahen & Co chocolate and Yahava coffee on arrival.


Guests have access to the entire home and gardens during their stay, including all indoor and outdoor living spaces.

Pets: Only with prior approval; guests must supervise pets, clean up hair/waste, and never leave pets unattended. A pet fee of $100 is required.
HOUSE RULES FOR GUESTS AND VISITORS
Holiday rentals provide a unique tourism experience: consider this your home, treat it as your own, respect your neighbours and leave it as you find it. These House Rules are provided at Le Soeuf Retreat to ensure that Guests and Visitors know and comply with the specific Rules governing their permission to enter and occupy the Property.

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD The house is located in a residential neighbourhood of families and small children. Could you please be mindful and maintain a slow speed when driving in our area.

PARKING It is a Council requirement that all vehicles associated with the property are to be parked on the driveway on the property, as street parking is not allowed.

RUBBISH The rubbish bins are emptied early on Thursday mornings. If your stay includes a Wednesday night, we would be very grateful if you would please place the bins out on Wednesday evening. The handle needs to face the kerb and not be further than 30 cm from the kerb.

BOND AND COMPLIANCE Cape To Cape Escapes holiday homes are not to be used for any parties, weddings or other functions without written permission from management. If it comes to our attention that the property is being misused by the guests they will be asked to leave the property immediately without any refund. Guests take full responsibility for any visitors at the house during their stay. The noise curfew is 9:00pm. The Bond relates to any missing or damaged items, excessive noise leading to complaints and general cleanliness of the property, e.g. left in a clean & tidy condition, washing up done, BBQ cleaned and rubbish removed etc. Please report any damage or breakage to the manager as soon as practicable after the damage occurring . Please be aware that noise complaints are a breach of terms and conditions and may result in forfeit of your bond.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES The check in time is 3:00pm and departure time is 10.00am unless otherwise arranged. When departing, please ensure the house is locked, air-conditioning has been turned off and the key is returned to the lock box at the front entrance.

PET FRIENDLY HOMES Guests are fully responsible for their pets and must keep them with them at all times and never leave their pet at the rental home unattended. Guests must ensure that they vacuum excess hair or clean up any packages left in the yard by their pets. A$100 pet fee is required.

NO SMOKING POLICY There is no smoking permitted inside the homes. Please dispose of cigarette ends thoughtfully if you smoke outside.
