The Lamphey Hall is okay and to be honest for the price we paid it was fine, Rooms are spacious but the maintenance is a little bit to be desired, evidence of leak damage in a couple of areas, plug missing from sink and wrong plug for bath. Cleanliness was average ie linen clean but under the bed hadn't seen a hoover for a long time. Quite a heavy damp smell when you enter the front door. No hospitality trays in the rooms, but really should have a kettle and at least some mugs or glasses so you can at least make or have a drink in your own room. Breakfast was ok, again for the price we paid it was okay, problems with the coffee machine only seemed to highlight the need for kettles in the rooms. Staff very helpful and polite. Overall it was Okay.

Staff went missing in the evening. Chef only did what was needed and sat on a seat in the bar most of the morning. No lift for us to carry heavy cases up. No one manning the reception at time. Just sorted the keys out myself!

We had a fabulous stay here. The hut is secluded in trees and feels very private. The hut is nicely decorated and the hot tub is fabulous. Easy walk to Manorbier train station to Tenby as we were hiking the coast path so no transport. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.
