„Everything simply magical about this place. We came for a frigid weekend and I was worried we wouldn’t be warm enough but when we arrived at the property the lights and heat were on, fun music was playing and we felt so immediately welcomed! The only small criticism I have is that the lockbox to get in while charming is incredibly difficult to use. We arrived very late after an 8 hour journey, cold and tired, and just wanted in but it took us a good 15 minutes to open the lockbox. “

We brought our Shelby Cobra in a trailer so we could ride it through the Davis Mountains and to Terlingua etc. it was the perfect spot in between both with room to park our trailer. „We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water.There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water ...
