„We were in town for a baseball tournament at Sports Force Park and this was a perfect location. This house was perfect for what we needed. I do want to point out the listing said there was a double pull out sofa. Unless it was user error, the couch is not a pullout couch but the accent chair folds out to a bed but definitely not a double size bed. It was not something I would be able to sleep comfortably on no matter the size. My husband wasn’t with me so I ended up sharing one of the other ...

„It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.“

„This was a cute house in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk a block to the water (just to see it). The town is drivable and so quaint. Please note that while the house had wifi and we were able to use the wifi for Voice over internet for our phone, our phone had no coverage (Verizon) it kept trying to connect to international, and we noticed that the part of the actual lake was right near the border of Canada. At night, we could hear the border control helicopters, which didn't bother ...

„A well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there.“

„Check- in was super easy and just as described by the host. The house was very clean and comfy! The kitchen was great, with everything we needed; appreciated the coffee pods and accoutrements. Some of us enjoyed some quiet conversation on the dock in the early evening while others put together puzzles on the coffee table.“
