„Everything was clean and comfortable. Cozy little cabin was perfect for 2 adults and our dog. Loved the rustic feel. Also we liked the town and neighbors. I wouldn’t describe property as waterfront though a small river channel is visible. Beach access is a quick drive. Appreciate the communication w/ the property owner. “

„Loved the rustic cottage and peaceful river just out front. Cottage quite clean but I was surprised to find that someone had put some plates away dirty so I washed all the dishes we used before using. Otherwise a very enjoyable place to be.“

„Had a great stay at this lake home. Very close to all the Pictured Rocks sites to see. Lots of things to do at the property itself, kids loved kayaking, swimming and fishing off the pier. Also very nice sunrises from the edge of lake.The family has already asked to go back next summer! Would highly recommend for a peaceful, secluded lakeside vacation rental. “

„Dear friends,Jim and I really enjoyed our stay at Turtle Cove. We rested, cooked fancy meals, read books and enjoyed the lake.I promised to let you know if there were items that needed attention. We noted the following:1. Lower corner cupboard of the SW corner of the kitchen needs a new hinge.2.The vacuum filter needs replacing or a good cleaning.3. Window mechanism in the SW corner of the living room needs repair. Some windows do not have handles.It would be nice to have at the cabin:1. ...

„The house was very clean and cozyCentrally located for excursions to pictured rocks and beaches. We visited the wildlife reserve didn’t see much wild life but it’s a beautiful location. We also took a canoe trip down the manistique river where I fell in the river. Very challenging river to navigate.The only thing missing is a washer and dryer.We had a great time and would visit again.“

„This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. „Very nice place, just wish the water was up to the shore. And with me having double hip replacement a year ago just wish the toilet was a little higher.“

„Very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The owner was wonderful at communicating during our stay. We needed a new filter and she had one at the door the next day. We LOVED the beach and view, as did our dogs. We will be back and can’t wait to stay here again. “

„The place was very cute and very welcoming. I loved how they had things labeled everywhere so you knew where things were or what to do the pictures on the website. Don’t do it justice. It’s much cuter in person. We really enjoyed it. We were only there two days, but if we were to ever come back up that way, we would definitely stay there again And I’m gonna be telling my kids about it so that when they go up to go snowmobiling, hopefully they can stay there.“
