Super location, very nice appartment
We had a great time in the appartment. The appartment is modern with new furniture, kitchen and new windows, which nicely block out the street noise. The kitchen is a bit small and one or two more pots and bowls would be good, but it worked out fine.
Our host Martin was extremely helpful in every aspect and we could always reach him by phone right away.
The location close to Plaza de la Merced is perfect. You reach the old part of Malaga walking in 5 min, the moorish castle and Picasso museum in 10 min and the habour area in about 15 min. A large supermarket "Mercado de la Merced" is just down the street.
We stayed also during the "semana santa". From the small balustrade facing the street we had "front row seats" to see the Easter processions passing by right in front of the house - quite an experience. Please note that the free parking spaces in the streets around the house are blocked during that week, so to find other free parking lots during that week is really tedious and we had to use a parking garage. But to find a free parking spot after "semana santa" in a radius of 500m around the house was not much of a problem.
