„I booked this this cabin after reading one review that said "best surprise". And i have to agree! This cabin advertised as able to sleep 6 and it fit our family of four perfectly (Mom, dad, 13yo, 9yo). The cabin was just off the main strip, sat right on the beach, and was so clean! „We loved the house. It was very clean and roomy. This house was built to be lived in. What a great location for a day visit to Macinaw Island or bridge access and northern Michigan. „What an amazing stay. The property is absolutely beautiful with all that you would need. The views are spectacular and we would enjoy just watching the waves, boats and birds. The property had lots of lovely little touches that you will absolutely appreciate. From s’mores sticks, binoculars, fire wood, extra blankets, a/c for the hot days. The best bit was Steve and Eva and their wonderful family. It was so lovely to get to know them and we would love to come again. “

"Poorly soundproofed, had a room with a window into the hallway outside, basically no daylight. Felt I was in the basement. Was supposed to get an upgrade. Told me they were full. Had to buses. It read vacancy outside. Mackinaw city feels like a tourist trap. If you go offseason, don’t book ahead, go to one of the many motels."
