Gutes Hotel mit kleinen Mängeln
Schönes, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. In unserem Fall funktionierte der Hauptschalter des Zimmerlichtes nicht, das WLAN war ziemlich langsam und am Morgen mussten wir auf unseren Cappuccino verzichten weil die Kaffeemaschine ihren Dienst versagte. Kostenloses Trinkwasser wurde nur sehr spärlich zur Verfügung gestellt (ca 3dl/Person), hier besteht noch deutliches Verbesserungspotential.

Fatal. No se guíen por las fotos!! Para el check in nos hicieron esperar más de 30min por nuestra habitación cuando entramos a las 3pm. Reservamos este hotel por su Spa y jacuzzi que se veía precioso. Primero nos dijeron que el jacuzzi se debía pedir con 8 hrs de anticipación para llenarlo, cuando les dijimos que lo queríamos para el otro día nos dijeron que estaba sucio y no funcionaba porque nadie lo pedía usar 🙄. No tenían plancha para la ropa en la habitación pero la chica de recepción se ofreció para que me pudieran a planchar una prenda, eso fue lo único bueno. El desayuno habían pocas opciones y nada wow. La vista al río de las habitaciones está bonita pero no vale la pena. No me volvería a quedar ni recomendaría a nadie quedarse.

Nuestro objetivo siempre es mejorar la perspectiva y la experiencia de nuestros huéspedes, incluso en situaciones que parecen desfavorables.Permítanos aclarar sus observaciones: En relación al check-in, la demora en la entrega de la habitación fue de 10 minutos, no de 30, debido a una situación fortuita que resolvimos internamente.Respecto al uso del jacuzzi, es necesario reservarlo en el check-in y con anticipación, ya que todos los huéspedes tienen derecho a su uso. Lamentablemente, hubo un inconveniente con una pieza del jacuzzi que requirió reparación, y nuestro Gerente Residente se acercó a usted para explicar la situación y disculparse, ofreciendo un 50% de descuento en los masajes que fueron tomados y recibidos, esto en compensación por las molestias.Además, mientras esperaban su turno para los masajes por la tarde, se les ofrecieron aperitivos, limonadas y Pisco sour para hacer más llevadera la espera. Estas son acciones que tomamos siempre que surge algo imprevisto en el hotel, con el fin de solucionar cualquier inconveniente presentado. En todo momento nuestro Gerente Residente se mantuvo al tanto de sus impresiones y no recibimos ningún comentario de insatisfacción, de haberlo hecho hubiéramos tenido a la mano las herramientas para cambiar su experiencia a positiva.Queremos que sepa que valoramos enormemente sus comentarios y nos preocupa la percepción que pueda tener del hotel. Por eso, queríamos contactarla para hacer todo lo posible por mejorar su impresión, incluso después de haber dejado el hotel.Esperamos sinceramente que nos brinde una nueva oportunidad para demostrarle lo mejor de Casa del Sol. We had a room overlooking the river which was very nice. The bathroom had a walk in shower with a rain fall nozzle. The staff were very attentive and quickly addressed any issues we encountered.

The stay was excellent. The hotel is by the river and one can hear the roaring rapids. Awesome experience. Alcides and his staff were very welcoming and accomodated our time in Aguascalientes. Few suggestions that I have for the hotel is that they should provide small face towels for face washing. Also, for breakfast, I would suggest that the hotel place self-serve coffee pots instead of waiting for the servers to serve coffee. Breakfast time gets busy and the wait time for coffee is rather long. I would also add a few more dining tables to accommodate the busy breakfast crowd. Thank you Alcides for a memorable stay!

The best hotel. Friendly helpful staff, 1 minute walk from the train station and they escort you from the station walk to hotel. The hotel in between train tracks and river next to all the town action. Amazing massages $60 for one hour with jacuzzi tub overlooking river. Amazing food and the breakfast is included and it’s a beautiful buffet spread overlooking river with omelette station, fresh juices, fruits, meats, salad, sides, potatoes, veggies, pancakes, breads, coffee, espresso with classy jazz music playing or eclectic tribal … comfy beds. Great towels, lighting is beautiful. Loved this hotel

The hotel is in the center of town with a river view, which is very calming. There was an issue with my room and the staff immediately moved me to another room, which was an upgrade. The restaurant staff and front desk team were exceptional. Great place to stay on your way to Machu Picchu.

First off, the hotel was nice with beautiful views of the room. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Rooms were nice, clean and with a nice size ( not too small) bathrooms were super clean! Now, what won me over was the AMAZING ANND EXCEPTIONAL service. The staff incharge where always so kind, helpful and informative. This is always, always a plus when staying at a hotel. I can't explain enough how great the service was! Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is in an excellent location. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They even met us at the train although they didn't need to. Our room was on the river side. Beautiful view. Breakfast buffet delicious. Only fault was the bathroom was a little tired, cracked tiles and a bit of mold on the caulking. Hot tub didn't work in the spa area. Maybe fixed now. Overall a nice place to stay.

The hotel is close to many attractions and is clean with amazing views of the mountain and stream. The staff there y treat you as if you’re the only person staying there. The breakfast ( which is included) is incredible with such a variety and delicious dishes, fruits and juices customary to Peru.

The hotel is very centric. The view to the river is not the best, maybe this was since the river was dry due to the hydroelectric power plan close by. The staff was nice, not to the point of a 5 start or vip hotel. Just one thing to be careful for is the wine at the room. My room had one bottle of wine, very skinny too, I thought it was included. But it wasn’t, the price was in the back very tiny, I felt like I was getting ripped. After paying $487 a night. Anyways, the bottle was $100 and I have drank a lot of wine. This wasn’t worth $100 dollars. The rest was nice. The breakfast was included.

All the Suite rooms have an Special Wine, for this month we chosed "Alma Negra" from the Catena winery that has won world awards, that is an option for our guest who can enjoy a good wine, all our guests can see the price in a tag that is in on the top of the botle for USD 68 dollars you paid in your bill room.We are glad you enjoyed the location and staff and breakfast. Very average hotel
The hotel itself appears to be more in line with a 3-star rating rather than a 4-star, and it is in need of some maintenance. Furthermore, upon check-in, we found that the rooms were not ready, and the staff seemed unaware of the Hotels.com Gold program. Despite mentioning our Gold status, we were not offered any upgrades or discounts associated with the program. On a positive note, the hotel's location is convenient and close to all the amenities a traveler might need in Aguas Calientes.

Llegamos y estaban sucias las sabanas y la colcha y muchos moscos en el techo como 50 moscos primero recepcion no nos daba solucion pero al final nos cambiaron a otra habitacion y estuvo bien solo que a lado del hotel hay construcción y hay ruido. En general el personal es amable

Lamentamos mucho la incomodidad a su llegada, ciertamente estamos en días de alta ocupación, por lo cual nos ha tomado tiempo ofrecerle un cambio de habitación, sin embargo lo hemos podido solucionar. Adicionalmente, le comentamos que esta semana hemos tenido una inusual presencia de mosquitos, pero esto ya se ha superado naturalmente.Gracias nuevamente por sus comentarios y por alojarse con nosotros, esperamos una próxima visita suya.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. It was clean, rooms were nice, bed was so comfortable, extremely close to great restaurants, the bus station to Machu Pichu, and train station. Walkable to everything. Continental breakfast was delicious and great variety. The staff was fantastic, all of them! Check in was smooth and they were so accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Machu Pichu, we stayed here 2 nights.
