„Bereits von draussen macht die Wohnung keinen guten Eindruck. Drinnen war noch schlimmer, der Ofen war total verdreckt, staub überall and eine schlechte Ausstattung. Die Wegbeschreibung war irreführend und enthielt nicht mal die Kodenummer für den Schüsselbox, der auch nicht schriftlich erwähnt wurde. Der Verwalter, cottages.com, hat schonmal für eine andere Wohnung schlechte Arbeit geleistet. Der Urlaub ist dennoch gut gelungen, trotz grotten schlechter Ferienwohnung.“

„Perfect accommodation for a quiet country getaway, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower & generally very well equipped, clean & maintained to a high standard. We liked the pretty garden. Were slightly concerned on arrival that it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere but were impressed to discover the excellent Jempsons superstore nearby which has lots of local produce & everything you could possibly need. „Really quirky, interesting property, ideally situated for all the great shops and eateries in Rye. Host was brilliant and provided all the information in an easily accessible format. Beds were comfy. Bathroom really clean. Nice outdoor area for warmer weather. Only downsides were that the main bedroom smelt of damp, the kettle could do with a descale, and the road noise made it tricky to sleep without interruption. Overall, we liked it and it had lots of mod cons including a juicing machine!“

„A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future.“
