„Great house with lots of character. There are AC units in the bedrooms, but not the rest of the house. There are lots of stray cats and chickens, and the host provides feed for both, if you are an animal lover. My little girl LOVES animals, so she had a great time feeding the animals and enjoying them. She was disappointed that the roosters would not let her pet them or hold them ;) We had a large family group, but this host worked with our hosts across the street so we could all stay close ...

„This is your place to stay on Vieques! The inside of the apartment far exceeded what we expected. There is a nice secluded balcony where you can sit and listen to the coqui or wait for the iguana to lay on his branch directly in front of you. The street where the apartment is on has several restaurants including Mama Mia's, a pizza place that rivals anything found in the continental US. Be sure and stop at the breakfast place across the street Piu Bello that also serves gelato.“

„A friend I stayed at The Rising Sun, Isleta Marina one night. Our host, Jazmin, was easy to communiate with. The interior of the condo was clean, cute and well- maintained. There were ample supplies as described on the VRBO site. We were delayed in arriving so, unfortunately we didnt have much time there. „We stayed in this room for 1 night to experience the clear kayak bioluminescent night tour. We already had a large VRBO rented for the week in Culebra but wouldn’t be able to return the night of this tour due to the ferry schedules.This place was perfect for our needs and I appreciate the other reviewers who led me to choose this place. „Casa Nirvana was a perfect location with amenities for 3 adults and 1 pre-teen. A/C kept us cool while sleeping and the only noises we heard were the local roosters and one trash truck. We could walk to town for groceries, caffe con leches, and dinner. There were ample areas to be together or apart. The water was hot for showers, and an outdoor shower for our return from the 5 beaches we visited. Parking on the street was not an issue.“

Waking up to 180 degrees views of the Atlantic Ocean is priceless. The pool is great: not too small and 6 feet deep. "I spent a week in Puerto Rico, and the three days I stayed at The Vieques Guesthouse were definitely the best part of the trip. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than planned, so I only got to enjoy part of my last day there. If I could have stayed the full day, I definitely would have. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel comfortable right away. My room was clean and well set up. The bed was really comfortable, I had a microwave, and the shower was nice and spacious. I don’t have any complaints about the room. The breakfast is also worth it, for $12 you can choose three items, and there’s something for everyone. As a vegetarian, I found good options too. The location is great, you can walk to everything, like Sun Bay Beach, Black Sand Beach, and there’s even a beach just across the street from the guesthouse. There are restaurants and a small market right around the corner as well. Overall, I had a really good stay here and would definitely come back :)"
