Ideal as a touring base or for a relaxing holiday with plenty to see and do in the area. Just 10 miles to the east there are miles of quiet sandy beaches to stroll along and let the sea air blow away the stresses of daily life. The seal colony at Donna Nook, where up to 200 seals a year are born, is just 9½ miles, with the coastal resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea within 20 minutes’ drive. Inland, the Georgian market town of Louth is a 3-mile drive, or a short taxi ride, which still boasts three markets a week, a wide range of shops and amenities, boutique shops and farmers’ markets, as well as a wide range of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Louth is also the gateway to the Lincolnshire Wolds, where you will find endless walks and cycle routes through the countryside with many good tea rooms and pubs on your travels for refreshment.
