Perfect for families or friends, the cottage enjoys access to the estate’s endless activities, while Cornwall’s north and south coasts, beaches and moorland landscapes are all within easy reach.
Inside, Lostwithiel House is stylish, welcoming and full of personality. The first-floor open-plan living and dining area features a stunning vaulted ceiling, comfortable sofas, a smart dining space and a fully equipped modern kitchen, all overlooking the estate grounds. The master bedroom is also on this level, while downstairs you will find two beautifully styled twin bedrooms, each with its own luxurious ensuite bathroom, organic toiletries and soft bathrobes. Throughout the cottage, bold fabrics, playful wallpapers and thoughtful details create a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Guests can spend their days walking and cycling through the estate, wild swimming in the lake, picnicking in scenic spots or picking fresh produce from the kitchen garden. Cornwall’s celebrated food scene is also close by, with excellent local restaurants, cafés and popular food festivals throughout the year.
The nearby town of Lostwithiel and historic Restormel Castle offer riverside walks and fascinating Cornish history, while the stunning south coast is home to beaches including Talland Bay, Lansallos, Par Sands and Polkerris. The charming harbour town of Fowey is a must-visit for its independent shops, waterfront restaurants and literary links to Daphne du Maurier. A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed on request at time of booking, for an additional charge of £22 per dog, per stay. Please note that the dogs must stay downstairs.

The wider grounds and tennis court are shared with the Estate's other holiday cottages however your group will retain plenty of privacy

Standard changeover clean included in the price. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
