When coming home I had to realize that the 890GTQ made US$ 115. 28$ more than hotels.com had offered the hotel. „This is a very charming hotel that you can get to it only by boat from the little village. You should pay 25 to get there. Do not pay more than 50.!!! The hotel is very charming. The Was are very nice. They have a nice restaurant but it’s little expensive every item that I tried was amazing.!!!!! They have kayak to rent and they can arrange for a boat tour for you“

„The location is great if you want to get away from the town. It is a 10 min boat ride to the location of the property. The place is great to relax and rest up. There is a time schedule of how often the boat goes back to the town so you have to plan accordingly. They do offer activities while you are there. For the most part, this place is great, the only downside is that there is NO free parking as it is advertised on their page. “

„Allergic to cats? Not for you! There was one at the time I visited. Basic soap & no shampoo provided if it matters to you. Welcoming water. Delicious & vast home made breakfast. Excellent view to the gardens and mountains. Within walking distance to Central Park, so you can take mototaxis to Copán Ruinas or elsewhere. I had a pleasant stay.“

„Iguana Azul is well-kept, with clean facilities. Community room has lots of info about local things to do, and a big fridge. Next door at their sister hotel (La Casa de Café) breakfast was large, fresh, and tasty, plus they had a menu for later in the day. Located just a few blocks from the lovely Central Park.“

The hostel was well maintained with four private rooms and two six bed dorms, giving guests a chance to meet other travellers. The shared baths (3) and showers (3) were very clean.
