Angenehmes Hotel und traumhafter Lage & Anbindung! Leider sind die Zimmer & Fenster etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer im Winter etwas feucht und nicht solo dicht. Die Betten sind dafür ein Traum, trotzdem gerne wieder. Danke

Überall im Badezimmer war Schimmel zu finden, die Marmorfliesen sind beschädigt und fleckig. Die Fototapete hinter dem Bett, löst sich von der Wand ab. Das Fenster lässt sich nur wenig öffnen, es riecht muffig und die Klimaanlage kühl nahezu überhaupt nicht. Für diesen Preis ist das Hotel in einem schrecklichen Zustand! Personal sehr freundlich. Vorwiegend Gäste aus dem arabischen Raum

Das bestechen der Unterkunft ist die Lage. In Kensington Direktbank der U-Bahn. Die Zimmer sind groß aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wände haben Risse, Tapete löst sich ab und hat viele Flecken. Das Bett war aber groß und bequem. In 4 Nächten gab es dreimal Feueralarm, mitten in der Nacht. Jedes Mal mit schlechter Kommunikation vom Personal.

Dear Susanne,Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington, we appreciate your valued feedback.Firstly, my apologies for the fire alarm issues you encountered during your stay, please be rest assured that our guests’ safety and well-being is our primary concern.Those procedures and equipments are in place to save our lives and help to keep premises and their occupant's safe by providing an early warning of a possible fire and enabling people inside the building to evacuate. The detection systems react to an increase in heat or the presence of smoke but unfortunately, they can also react to things such as steam, cigarette smoke, aerosol sprays, and light smoke from cooking as when someone activate a call point. I very much regret the obvious inconvenience caused. Nevertheless, I have noted your comments down and discussed them with the relevant departments. Your feedback is very important for us.With regards to your comment about the room, please be advise that we already have an ongoing redecoration project and are currently reviewing the rooms.As a positive side, it is wonderful to learn that you particularly enjoyed the room size, comfortable bed and the hotel location. Gepflegtes Hotel eine Minute von der U Bahn Station entfernt. Heathrow und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in London sind problemlos zu erreichen. Zimmer und Bad sind für britische Verhältnisse riesing und sind sehr sauber. In der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants.

The room they put us in way extremely loud. We could hear everyone in the hallways at all times. The room was nice, but No amenities, had to go downstairs to get a pen and paper. Consiere services was awesome, Front desk was not welcoming at all, came across as if they did not want a person there or want to give time of day.

Nice hotel. Tube stop 50 yards away. Would stay again for sure. Only knock is that some of the restaurants right outside are fast food chain restaurants like Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken. Wish it was a little less "touristy". But the stay was great. Good bed. No issues. Convenient location. Front desk staff very nice.

The hotel is nicely located right next to Gloucester Road tube station. Although I had a first floor room facing the main road, it was quiet and clean. The most disappointing element of the stay was having very expensive cologne stolen from the room by housekeeping. I had checked out early morning and after realising I left my cologne, I phoned reception immediately and asked them to check the room and secure the cologne. This was still early in the morning before the 11am checkout time. They assured me that they would check and phone me back. Of course, they made no such checks, never phoned me back, and although I rang another 4 times during the morning and afternoon, still they never anything. When I sent my son around to the hotel the next day, the cologne had been taken by house keeping and they told him that it was never there. Very disappointing that they could have acted, but choose not to and then allowed the cologne to be taken. Yes, my fault for leaving it in the first place, but inexcusable for them to completely ignore me after that even though I rang them on numerous occasions.

This is a lovely hotel & has great amenities. Events take place at this hotel so be aware of slamming doors and noise at night. The Gloucester tube station was closed, which it is across the street. So be prepared to haul your luggage a few long blocks from the other tube stations. Overall my stay at this hotel was pleasant.
