Leider das schlechteste Zimmer bekommen (703), lautes Loch im Keller, direkt neben dem Lager für Putzmittel, Putzwagen... sehr laut in der Nacht, früh am Morgen... nicht akzeptabel für ein Familienzimmer in einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Enttäuschend auch die Rezeption, die die Schuld des Lärms an die Gäste weitergeben, nein, es ist das Personal, ich habe sie eindeutig gesehen.

First of all pics do not fit to looking in real. We have got a room on lower ground floor, size maximum 13 square meters. it was the worse room ever in my life. Breakfast is horrible, also the worse I have ever had. Only positive moment-ladies on reception.

Gutes hotel aber zimmer im untergeschoss vermeiden
Das mercure Hotel ist an sich relativ modern und wohl vor kurzem frisch renoviert. Der service und die freundlichkeit war gut. Mein Zimmer war im untergeschoss, ohne richtiges tageslicht und die ganze nacht hindurch war Lärm hörbar (von drinnen und draussen sowie u-bahn) - also idealerweise Zimmer im untergeschoss vermeiden ;)

Harry Potter had more room under his staircase
Clean and nice environment. - And at this stage my compliments run out. I have slept many hundreds of nights in Mercure Hotels in the world and after i visited this one in London I will never go to one again. How can you sell a "room" for 2 nights for around 400 Pounds that is smaller than a shoebox? There was not even room to open my suitcase (carry-on)! Ironing your shirts? Maybe if you bring down the ironing board to the lobby! Seriously, this felt like the biggest rip-off in the world. I feel extremely cheated on! What's worse, I am claustrophobic and it was not a pleasant whatsoever.

gute Erreichbarkeit der öffentl. Verkehrsmittel sehr kleine Zimmer Frühstück zwar reichhaltig, Service ist nicht strukturiert organisiert. Personal gibt sich zwar Mühe, ist aber chaotisch und somit muss man teils lange warten. Auch hier ist der Raum sehr eng.

Das Hotel ist aus meiner Sicht super gelegen. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und das Personal ist super freundlich. Es ist einfach sehr klein und die Zimmer eher ringhörig aber das ist normal in Stadthotels.

Tolles Stadthotel in guter, ruhiger Lage
Das Stadt-Hotel in ruhiger Lage zwischen Paddington Station und Hyde Park hat nach Umbau/Renovierung gerade wieder geöffnet. Design und Ausstattung sind sehr gelungen. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbuffet im Untergeschoß qualitativ sehr gut und umfangreich. Zimmergröße bei Standard-Zimmer mit King-size-Doppelbett ausreichend aber (für "Continental-Verhältnisse") nicht sehr groß.

- sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal - das Zimmer war sauber - es gibt sogar extra ein Handy für die Gäste um gratis telefonieren und Tickets buchen zu können sowie mit zugriff auf Maps - schneller Room Service, leider war die Guacamole und das Hummus ziemlich geschmacklos - leider war der Lift defekt, mühsames Treppensteigen war die Folge - Zimmer sind sehr klein - wenig Platz für Kleider und Koffer - Haartrockner konnte nicht im Badezimmer angeschlossen werden, und hatte ein zu kurzes Kabel um ihn im Zimmer vor dem Spiegel nutzen zu können

It’s very clean, quiet, and within a reasonable distance to Paddington Station. The night staff are very polite and helpful, but I found the day staff a bit snarky (though still helpful). Everything is quite small, but most hotels in London are like this. The most helpful bit, is they will store your luggage for free if you arrive early.

El hotel se encuentra a una calle de la estación de Paddington, con lo que el transporte desde y hacia Heathrow es directo en el Heathrow Express o en el Tube. En los alrededores hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas. Incluso Kensington Park está a una distancia corta. El hotel esta muy bonito y las habitaciones cómodas. El desayuno que ofrecen por 13 libras es muy bueno.

Great location, bad smell
Best thing about hotel is the location. Easy to get to from Euston on 2 tubes and also great walking distance to winter wonderland at Hyde park (25 mins). Quick 5 min walk to the tube station to get into central. Hotel room was small no space to open case which is expected in London. Gave 3* due to the hotel room it smelt like drains especially the bathroom, we had to open the window while in the room to air it out however smell still lingered. Also unable to have a shower as the water built up and did not go down for a long time. Building works going on next door which woke us up at 8am, wasn’t aware until we got there. Overall nice hotel if drain system and smell is sorted. Would recommend short stays 1 or max 2 nights.

Boa localização, mas quartos muito apertados
O hotel é bem localizado, um quarteirão do metrô e da estação de trem e dois do Hyde Park. Os quartos são minúsculos, eu fiquei sozinha, mas imagino que seria muito apertado com duas pessoas. Os quartos tem carpete o que dificulta muito a limpeza. Funcionários atenciosos.

Small but clean and well-appointed rooms. Steps from Paddington Station with dozens of bars and restaurants in a one block radius (I counted six places you could get shawarma within a block!). Only major issue - they rent the rooms out for day use and when I arrived at almost 9PM they said the room wasn’t ready. For me it was only a short wait since I arrived so late but another poor lady in the lobby had been waiting for hours. If they can’t guarantee check in by 5:00 or so, they should state that clearly somewhere before you book the room. You shouldn’t have to pay for room for the “night” if you don’t get into the room until 9:30PM
