„Excellent service from the ladies who run the inn“

„Older property but well maintained.“

„We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite . The WiFi was good. We were pleased with our stay which represented good value.“

The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, although they often had to juggle multiple roles at once, which sometimes made them difficult to find. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, and if I return to Castle Douglas, I would happily stay here again.“

„Zentral gelegen - Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Angenehme Atmosphäre, da die Familie das Haus führt. Gutes Frühstück.“

„Property located in peaceful location. Not much in the walking distance. You can walk to local pub in about 25 minutes. We drove everywhere. Very nice beach in 6 minutes drive. “

„Check pub is open when you visit as its the only place in town for food.“
