It was self check in so there was no issues getting in, when we arrived around 8.30pm. „Ich war das erste Mal in Wales und habe mit diesem Cottage einen 6er im Lotto erwischt. Etwas besseres hätte ich nicht finden können. Das Cottage und die Landschaft war der Ideale Urlaubsgenuss, der nicht hätte besser sein können. Ruhe, Erholung, gute Luft und wunderschöne Landschaft. Das Cottage lässt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die Herzlichkeit von Roger und Katie waren eine Wohltat. Und ich bedanke mich ganz herzlich bei Katie und Roger für meinen wunderbaren Urlaub.“

There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!“

„This is a delightful well equipped property which proved cosy and comfortable , much needed in a week of poor weather. The upstairs bedroom is far superior to the downstairs, as is the upstairs bathroom but twin beds don’t suit, and we weren’t sure if they were zip and link It would be really great if they were! We appreciated decent number of dishwasher and laundry tablets, provisions for the dog, and a quirky welcome pack. Thank you.“

„Lovely house just VERY COLD!!!! Wasn’t told about the heating been on 2 separate thermostats. House was cold at night and some people left to go home and get warm. Location was fantastic, house was beautiful. Only downfall was the cold heating, log fire was blocked in chimney and WiFi was very temperamental“

„A lovely pod next to the owner's farm house in a lovely quiet spot with a lovely private lake to walk around, hot tub to spend the night in, views of the hills from the deck in the day time, good parking space, Oven, hobs, microwave, toaster, and everything else you could need in the kitchen. Strong little heater and towel rack kept the pod plenty warm. Strong shower but it needs a bit more sealant around the bottom of the glass pane as it was leaking a bit near the sink.
